Not so fun of gym classes at the pool with all that loud music...

The staff was really efficient and friendly, the breakfast with the sea view spectacular and all the restaurants were good. The pool was nice and clean and the beach nearby verruca clam and enjoyable. Also the spa was excellent and I received a very good massage, great professionals.

I wished we had more time to enjoy Rio. Rain styed with us until we left on Friday morning.

All the Hotel's staff went above and beyond to make us feel special from check to checkout. Bene's an Etoile restaurant associates made us feel at home. Our meal at Etoile was fantastic and can't say enough about our waiter "friendly elegance". Concierge staff ensured we made the right decisions as to what sites to visit given the cloudy rainy weather. Transportation around town and to restaurants were quickly available. Thanks to the entire staff for making this a memorable and enjoyable trip to Brazil.

There were some sounds of construction during daytime. We had dinner at Bene restaurant once and it was below expectations

We stayed to celebrate our anniversary and the hotel went beyond with their attentiveness, we received a personal gift on our anniversary date that was so thoughtful and nice and during our stay we received various small extra things to our room, like desserts, chocolates and coconut water. We stayed at a club room and really enjoyed the breakfast in the top floor restaurant. The views from the hotel is incredible. Beautiful surroundings with the beach, mountain, rainforest and favela all meeting in one place. We often walked to and from the hotel to nearby places but the hotel also offers great taxi service that we used at various occasions. We had dinner at the Casa de Cachaca at two occasions and we were very pleased both times.

Price is high, took time for check out due to huge queue. Also could be nice to have some music around the pool for better atmosphere.

The best hotel to keep my kids busy at playgrounds and at the same time enjoy hotel facilities: swimming pool, nice food at the restaurant. Stuff was very kind to us and communicative to the kids.

Everyone was very kind and helpful. We set up transportation through the hotel to and from the airport. They were wonderful. He even stopped at a local shop to get us Brazilian snacks and coffee to welcome us to Brazil! Check in and out was very quick. They were able to accommodate our early check in request even though the hotel was very full. Concierge desk was so helpful and energetic. Pool and bar was beautiful and clean. Drinks were perfect. Room service we ordered online was quick and convenient. The rooms were large and comfortable with perfect views. Breakfast was great and plenty of options! Ubers to and from the hotel were quick and SO CHEAP. We loved staying a little further outside of the typical tourist location since it was so easy to reach by Uber. We unfortunately had a family emergency and had to leave unexpectedly several days early and they were so helpful and accommodating. I thought I would have lost all my money but only paid for days I stayed with no extra fees. They were so kind. We hope to be back one day to re do our vacation as we had never been to Brazil and wasn’t sure what to expect.

Tour bikes were in awful state. There was a rust leak in the waterpipes at some point, although it was quickly repaired.

Resort seemed very busy. Upon my arrival, I asked and was told all 500 rooms were booked. They should've hired more staff. Staff were not always attentive, especially down in the beach area. That was where service was lacking. Club lounge, happy hour, and breakfast at L'Etoile are ONLY available to members which is important to know before you go. One might consider signing up before staying here as I found the 4 restaurant options to be limited and underwhelming. Definitely plan to take an uber to the leave the resort for better food options. The pool "restaurant" had the least amount of options. L'Etoile is only open after 6:30 pm for dinner.

The hospitality of the staff was impeccable. They were very nice and friendly. I felt very relaxed at the facility. The French restaurant on the top floor, best octopus I ever had.

The smell in the washroom, we thought it was either sewage problems or the room is stuffed and wet. The couch bed didn't have white sheets on them.

The view and customer service were excellent. We enjoyed food, club drinks, variety, and selection. The pool was clean, and the room was well maintained. Kids Club is a great addition, and staff members were very welcoming, friendly, and openly.

Breakfast was amazing. The staff were so lovely and kind. A special thanks to breakfast team: Monique, Gilsilaine, César from dinner restaurant, the pool team: Debora e Andre. They made our stay even better. My 8 year old daughter loved the attention they gave her. The restaurant and the pool bar were my favourite spot.

Its very USA oriented : helps for great service but also many Americans Rooms okay but dated . Many spaces can use update in interior deco No small snacks at bars ( nuts or crisps ), everything has to be prepped by one of the kitchen and takes 45 mins Not sure why I have to pay a resort fee, was this optional ? Checkin guys were quite obnoxious and arrogant Isolated location means Ubering everywhere (not a problem for me )

Everything was perfect, they allowed us to check in early and upgraded our room and benefits for a reasonable fee. They also stored our luggage on our day of departure. Staff speak English and the resort is fantastic. Don't miss out on this one!!!
