Had multiple rude interactions with the staff. It’s not your typical backpacker hostel. I’m not referring to social ambience but rather that they don’t like to hold luggage, they don’t allow access to the kitchen after check out and you can’t stay to wait for a flight/bus for instance. It was a bit disappointing in that regard.

I stayed Soul hostel 2 before, and liked it so much that I chose to stay hostel 1. Everything is nice, basically the same style and decorations, chill vibe, clean area, friendly reception, breakfast included. Just maybe this hostel is the old one, not as big space as hotel 2.

The room's ceiling fan made some noise at night (although this was necessary due to the hot weather, and the fan chilled the room well). There was no safety rail on the top bunk bed.

Staff attended the helpdesk frequently and gave helpful advice. A spacious locker comes with a padlock. A good breakfast made the morning happier. There was also a fridge to store your food. Best of all, the location!

This is me, I realized im not a hostel person at all, to be honest I just booked hostel expecting to meet people and maybe go outside with them but it wasn't the case for the destinations.

again, I didn´t make it to breakfast but the bed was very comfy to be honest with you, at least compared with the previous hostel on rio, super close to avenida paulista and very quite zone, the staff were nice and the place like showers and bathrooms were very clean.

Apparently, the staff doesn't like talking. You ask something and it seems that they answer out of obligation. The kitchen doesn't smell very good, but it's ok. The breakfast is too simple. I'd add more options such as different kinds of fruit.

The location is PERFECT. Close to Avenida Paulista and to she subway station.

The last receptionist. He was intended to say that I ate more than one sandwich at breakfast and he was very loud in the morning. And also he didn't treat me well as much as the three previous receptionists did. I don't remember his name unfortunately.

The bedding could definitely be better and the lockers should be bigger. The rooms are not so big, so with no space in the lockers, people just leave their stuff spread around the room. Nevertheless, it was a good place to stay,

The location is perfect, a block away from Paulista Av., and breakfast is just fine, simple but with the right amount of food. The staff is very friendly and kind, besides being responsive and attentive to the guests.

Hostel is smaller and older than the photos are showing. Showers are small. Well, everything were too small for me, actually. I had the smallest room upstairs with weak wooden bed and broken plugs. It’s may be fun and ok for a skinny girl as I am, but bigger people and tall guys were afraid to sleep on the upper bed. It’s just too shaky lol. But I had a great time at the hostel and loved it at the end. Just be sure, that comfortable bed and shower is not the main point for you. Or at least ask the room downstairs, I think it’s a bit better.

I always stay here due to the location (near the Av. Paulista, Shopping mall cidade São Paulo, parks and walking distance to other neighborhoods. The staff is amazing.

The sanitary door on the first floor didn’t close, and the smell was awful. The smell inside the room coming from the window is also awful. Really noise, you could hear ppl from the reception late (like 2 am). The window curtains was completely seethru so the light coming from the outside was always on my face while sleeping. Did a early check out tbh because of all of those stuff
