Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

We were very pleased that there was an electric car charging station on the property. You have to be aware however, that once your battery is full, you will still be charged for being plugged in. I believe that the charging station is separate from the hotel. The restaurant was very good, we had dinner and breakfast there. Also enjoyed the whirlpool. The room was comfortable and clean. Nice walking trail along the water.

Only thing that got to me, during check in I have to hand the clerk my credit card. That’s fine and understandable. But then, once the clerk is done with my card, instead of handing it back or gently putting it on the counter he actually tosses the card on the counter. Almost like if it were a playing card. Everything else was great but that one action is disrespectful, not to mention it can harm the chip on my credit card because of the inn’s employee’s actions.
It was a beautiful inn, loved the bay view, beautiful and comfortable rooms

The room was very dark and the A/C was very loud. I did not spend too much time in the room as I was away most of the day during my stay. The WIFI was not very reliable.
The location of the hotel is excellent, with walkways around the lake. It's very close to the center of Owen Sound as well, 5 min by car. I did not eat the breakfast, but did have dinner there with the group I was with and it was good.

It would be nice if there were additional touches like complimentary newspapers or complimentary coffees in the lobby.
The room was very spacious, comfortable and clean. The location is nice being by the water although there really isn’t much else there so you have to drive to other restaurants. We ate at the hotel’s restaurant during a stay at a different hotel the week before. The meals were good and the serving staff attentive.

The halls and public spaces were totally bland and had a ‘retirement home’ vibe
The room was spacious and very clean. It was nice to have a working fireplace on a cold day. Access to the waterfront trail was great

We requested a main floor room for mobility reasons and they couldn’t accommodate us and we stayed on the 2nd floor which had elevator to but it is a good walk to get to the elevator from the lobby and we had a ramp and even longer walk to get to our room. We managed since we were only there for 1 night
We have stayed here several times. Good location

I would have liked real milk for coffee and tea. The whole ‘creamer’ thing is normal in north America but not for us. (It would not put me off staying again!)
Right on the sound. Great facilities. Dinner was delicious - we did not try other meals. Staff were friendly. Easy parking. Nice little waterfront walk nearby. Room was comfortable.

Staff was efficient and friendly. Dinner was good to very good but we felt it was priced as excellent. Did not quite deliver that.
Breakfast was very good and in line with alternate restaurants. Staff was efficient and friendly Nice location on the bay, lots of walking trails, within short distance, we will return for a a third visit. The salmon were running when we were there, big bonus !

Nothing could’ve been better where our particular stay was concerned.
Breakfast and dinner was satisfactory and plenty of it. The waiting staff were exceptionally polite, kind and attentive. Any questions were answered at reception and done so, politely. The room was spacious and comfortable though we did not have any cleaners during our stay, our choice. We asked for extra toilet paper at reception and it was given, no problem. We didn’t use the facilities available, ie the gym etc, so cannot comment on those. The view across the bay was beautiful!
