Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaThese weren't issues for me, but the room was up 2 flights of stairs, so be prepared if you have a heavy bag. Also, there are no staff on site, so if you want face to face interaction it isn't available.
This is a beautiful property and the room was lovely. Location was a short walk to upper area of Quebec, and perfectly positioned amongst bars and restaurants. Communication from the hotel was excellent, they regularly guide you before you check-in, during your stay and post stay. The restaurant next door is also amazing.

United StatesLarger quantity of toiletries needed, overdesigned or complicated “techy” lights, curtains, toilet etc. There is loud music playing late into the night from the restaurant outside. White Noise machine was helpful

United StatesNo elevator. You have to essentially walk up 3.5 flights of stairs from street level with your bags from to get to the second level rooms.
Great location. Very clean and updated rooms. “Staff” not on site but exceptionally helpful and prompt with assistance by phone when needed. The two attached restaurants are superb (but do not serve breakfast).

United StatesVery busy location Construction in the morning across the street No elevator, which presented some physical challenges as We were on the third floor Active local bars with DJ music into the night starting on Friday noticeably loud
Had all of the high tech conveniences, fully stocked bar Great bathroom Great availability of room supplies Great restaurant in the hotel, fabulous food with fantastic staff and service We also ate in nearby restaurants, which were quite good! Arranged paid parking was great

United KingdomThe pressure in the shower! The only letdown of our stay - far, far too weak. Particularly at the price paid per night, I would expect at least a decent rainfall showerhead (especially given the size of the shower!)
Beautifully presented room, extremely comfortable bed (particularly the pillows!), fantastic location and the restaurant was incredible.

United StatesNo real access from the parking lot. You can go through the restaurant but that disrupts them when they're serving lunch. Lack of an elevator is a challenge during checkin and checkout but wasn't enough to take away form the modern charm of the room and it's appointment.
This was our second summer vacation staying here. The street is easily accessible once you come off the highway. There are plenty of restaurants for dinner, afternoon drinks and snacks and BREAKFAST is available up the street.!!! Walk to the old city, plains of Abraham and the art Museum. Uber easily accessible.

United StatesThe only challenge was getting our bags in and out as there was no elevators, but even so, was definitely doable.
The room was exceptionally clean and modern. The staff were very efficient and helpful. The bed was super comfy and we slept great! The room was also in the middle of tons of restaurants and entertainment.

United StatesThis specific room is truly only good if you’re a couple as the shower and bathroom are open concept. I wouldn’t suggest this for travelers that are friends or family.
Close enough, but just far enough to not be right in the crowds of old Quebec City. The place was spotless. And while there is no staff on sight, they were instant in their replies via messages.

United StatesThe only complaint is that it was a bit noisy at night- the room was right above two restaurants that play music until late. The hotel does provide a white noise machine & the room was fairly well sound proofed, could only hear the outside when it was really loud music and we were really quiet.
The room was spacious, clean and modern. The hotel doesn’t have a front desk crew, but they sent check in instructions before we arrived that were very easy to follow. It was about a 15 minute was to old Quebec City & was located very close to a bunch of restaurants.

CanadaWe had slight trouble with our parking space as when we arrived there were no empty spaces as had been mentioned and they don't keep the reception manned. We contacted them and they resolved the issue promptly, however! No real issues.
Hotel was lovely, was not expecting it to be as great as it was! The location was very easy for walking around Quebec city. Loved the fact they even provided a bath robe - it was however absolutely ginormous, so perhaps having a slightly smaller option would be great! The later check out at 12 was also very nice, as it allowed us to go and have a nice breakfast on the morning we left.

SpainIs part of the building, but if you have mobility problems might not be the best option since there are some stairs to get to the rooms.
