Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

CanadaThe location wasn’t great with a vast number of unhoused individuals that were using substances. Not the hotels fault but didn’t feel particularly safe while outside. Parking was also an issue, although it was free.
The bidet toilets were nice and the room was clean and tidy. It was quiet.

United StatesWe are a couple and the room was booked as such. There was one cup and one queen size bed. The bed was okay however, a second bed appeared to have been removed but left the headboard on the wall.
The property is located in downtown Prince George. The staff was okay. The toilet was heated and had a bidet….first time I see that at a hotel.

CanadaThe hall carpets need replacement as they look and smell bad. Apparently, renovations are planned this summer. The restaurant closed at 9:45 pm and the bartender rudely stated that they wouldn't serve me when I arrived at 9:46 pm so I went out to a nearby Indian restaurant called Tasty Bites that was very good and inexpensive. Lots of homeless people camped on the street.
The room is quiet, clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The bidet is a great novelty and inspired me to get one for our home. The Winston restaurant served very good eggs Benedict and the server Tracee was professional. The upper parking lot seemed fairly secure and had outlets for block heaters that worked to charge my plug-in hybrid overnight with a level one charger that I brought.

CanadaDid not get a receipt for payment. Told it would be emailed by Expedia, which I did not expect skin either I reserved through Booking.com . Had no idea booking. Con was associated with Expedia or I would not have used it. I was scammed last fall by another subsidiary of Expedia and never got any any satisfactory settlement, just ignored all my calls. I do not like being given the impression I am dealing with a hotel front desk when it is a remote booking agent.

CanadaParking. I drive a big truck and there wasn't a lot of room left in the parking lot for big trucks. Some of the smaller cars could've used the upper level parking and the main parking lot could've been left for over sized trucks.
The heat wasn't working in our room. Was traveling with my father who is a senior (87 yrs) old and is always cold. Called front desk brought us a warmer blanket and a portable heater right away.

CanadaParking can be difficult if you like to keep an eye on your vehicle because of the location.
We had a room with one queen which was nice and spacious. The TV was a good size which could be viewed from the chair and footstool or the bed. I appreciated the adjustable shower so it could be lowered or raised depending on your height. The bathroom is a bidet toilet which I appreciate but for others they might find it odd.

CanadaIt would have been nice if Winston's was open earlier for breakfast but this was not a big problem. I was able to grab some food from Tim Horton's.
The room was clean, comfortable and good value for the price. I like the location and the later check out.

CanadaYou could hear the elevator from the room and we were four units away. Would have hated to be any closer. Try to book an odd numbered room to be on the other side of the hall and the larger the number the farther you are away from the elevator. Was supposed to be queen bed but was a double!
