We were given a room with a private bathroom instead of the original plan. It was clean, comfortable, and in a quiet but convenient location. We had a great time.

Although there was a kitchen, no food was available. There were very few eating places within walking distance. As it was rainy and cold, I didn't feel like going out to eat. It would have been nice if there had been a few choices in the kitchen that I could have paid for to eat.

The location was very good. Train was within walking distance to anywhere in the city. The facilities were really non existant in the room but there was a tv and tapes in the living room. It was a nice, quiet place. While it the area could accommodate more guests, I seemed to be the only one staying there at the time, helping further the sense of it being somewhere I could decompress. The public areas were spacious, at least for one person.

Average guest house quality and service. Nothing wrong and no complaints about those points. The only but minor point is that the guest house entrance is not curbside. They will let you park in the back and you need to drag your suitcase from there. But still not a point to discard this guest house from your list of candidates.

Location was perfect. 15-20min drive from downtown area or area where good eatery is concentrated. Also 20min easy drive to the Vancouver International Airport is a great advantage. The most recommendable point to choose this guest house is location.

Smells like a cat lives there, and I was completely surprised to find out it was one room of 4 total in the guest house. Didn't realize it was a shared space!

I was put into another cottage when I arrived, as the cottage I had booked a room in was double booked, which I did not mind as the other accommodation was really nice, but is something to perhaps avoid in the future, or let the guests know in advance.

The accommodation was very clean. All the required amenities were available and the staff member I spoke to was really friendly and helpful. Location was not bad either, just a short walk to the metro and bus stops.

Great location, quiet and apart from people. Within walking distance from skytrain. Bathroom is shared, but had no inconviniences. Has a small but functional kitchen.

When we arrived at the original location, the property owner told us that the bathroom was out of service, and so we had to move to a different property. The new property was a decent accommodation, but it was inconvenient that we were not told until we arrived to check in, and not really given any option other than the alternative property.

There was no breakfast offered, but I was offered everything I asked for.

The price of 353.00 CDN incl all taxes was pretty steep for a room with a bed 15 x 10. We were in a jam and paid the piper.

Very pricey for a single bedroom. Maybe I’m not up to speed on lodging in Vancouver, but there are lots of single room accommodations for less on AirBnB. I also wish there was temperature control in the room or the bathroom.

easily accessible, quiet, parking on site, EXCELLENT SHEETS -they were the softest ever! That little care package is a nice touch. The property owners were consistently easy to get ahold of.

Would have been nice to have cable so we could watch the news from time to time or at least have a radio in the kitchen to listen to the news. Felt somewhat isolated from what was happening in the world. No convenience stores nearby to pick up a paper. Kitchen lacked some essential tools.....a soup ladle, a pasta strainer, a large pot for cooking pasta....a second dish towel to dry dishes.

There were no others staying at the property when I was there. This was perfect for me as coming from a different time zone, I appreciated being able to go to bed early (according to Vancouver time) and not be disturbed, and be up at 4 am and making breakfast, having a shower etc.. Given the location of the rooms, I would not have been able to do this as easily/comfortably if others were staying at the same time.
