Tired, basic, non-functioning facilities (e.g lift out of service, heating in room not working). Very limited crockery, cutlery, glasses etc. for self catering. Outdoor spa pool dirty.

Location is the selling point here. Staff were friendly.

The fact that not all lights work in the suite I was given (e.g. had to shower in a dimly lit washroom). Also, the fact that the guest have to pay additional for parking ($23/day)

Convenient as the location is very close to the ski lifts, rentals, restaurants and retail stores. Basically the hotel is just minutes away walking distance between each facilities.

Fat Mardis bar directly below the unit we stayed in # 221. The music is too loud. Thank goodness they're only open until 10 pm. The blinds let too much light into the room. The sheets were too small for the mattress.

Convenient location. Right near the bottom of the ski slopes. Nice size units. Breakfast was great. The staff we're very nice. Jeanne was really helpful. Such an asset!

Check in experience was horrible. My husband and I arrived with our 2 year old around 5pm. I am also very pregnant. We were offered no help with our luggage from the car or even through the front door (the staff watched us struggle with a very old and finicky luggage cart). We were given a room on the first floor and told that to get to this room we had to take the elevator to the second floor, walk down the entire corridor to the stairwell at the end of the hallway (which had several sets of a few steps every 20' feet or so) take the stairs down to the first floor and then walk all the way to the end of the first floor corridor. Obviously not ideal while having a small child and being pregnant. I expressed this concern and the attendant told us they don't like to give this room to families with small children but they were fully booked and unable to switch us rooms, so off we went. When we got to the room it wasn't the room we had booked and the bedroom had two double beds instead of a queen. Usually not an issue at all but this layout did not leave enough room to fit our son's travel crib anywhere. I went back to the front desk and explained to a different attendant that this was not the room we had booked and told her there was no where to fit the crib for our son. Within seconds she had switched us to another room that was exact layout we had originally booked and involved zero steps or sets of stairs! So clearly the first attendant had been lying and just didn't care to make our stay pleasant or easier on us. My husband an I talked about how frustrating it would have been to get to our room every time we wanted to leave. Having our small son walk down that giant corridor (no stroller possible because of the steps) and then take a set of stairs up and down and then get on/off an elevator. It literally took us 15 minutes to reach the front door from our room. Yikes! And the temperature in the hallways was so so HOT.

There were no tags on the breakfast items and there was no sign on the item being Vegetarian / Non vegetarian. All the items are placed erratically. There was egg in the bread and beans were cooked in pork making it unsuitable to eat for vegetarians.

The layout of the hotel is a bit complicated and difficult to access our rooms without having to climb a lot of stairs.

Guest service agents were very professional and friendly which makes a great first impression at check in and also sets the mood for the rest of the stay.
