Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We’re currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil, and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

There were no eggs for breakfast. I am gluten free so they were one of the choices I could enjoy.
There used to be boiled eggs at breakfast and I liked them. Rest of breakfast items were available and good.

For the price we paid for the hotel included breakfast. I knew it couldn’t be much for the price. It was actually worse then not much. We didn’t eat there. Still happy w the price etc though I’m wondering if it would be better not to advertise an included breakfast
The front desk manager was over the top friendly and helpful. Even though the hotel is dated it was immaculately clean. The bed was very comfortable as well as the bedding. Very good value.

I have got extra charge on my master card for $ 292.72 for what ever reason over and above my actually 2 nights stay for $ 194.11. I would like that to be reversed. Otherwise the room for 2 nights costing me $486.83.

The bed sheet, blanket, and pillowcase are extremely uncomfortable. They feel rough and overused, making it difficult for me to sleep. When my daughter first moved the bed sheet, we started sneezing and felt like there was dust everywhere. My daughter struggles to sleep because she feels itchy all night long. After requesting a new blanket at the reception, she was finally able to fall asleep.

The breackfast it was a continental breackfast with only 1 option for everything, no body is cheking if everything is ok, so they ran out of coffe.
The room was nice, and all clean and correct, the hotel looks a bit old, is like it need some maintanece, but for work or just satyin to wait a flight y great.

Wifi kept dropping out, room service would enter the room even with the do not disturb hanging from the door handle, a little noisy between the floors. You can hear above walking around.

The bathroom tub was discoloured and the grout in the bathroom floor tile was gone. The bed was uncomfortable and the sheets were old.

Had to wait for full 2 hours to complete check out!! Staff had to check the room before they issue the deposit back and it took them this whole time. Claiming that it is the process because I payed using my debit card instead of credit card. This was not the case in many other places I used in my travels.

We don’t like your policy that your staff can turned off half of the light and TV when there still people inside and without even announcement .That’s Rude!!!! Your dining room employee turned off half of the light and turned off the TV without even announcement and walked out after. There’s still people eating and watching the TV. What is few minutes over from your schedule.They are already inside ,Let them finished .We also worked in restaurant industry but we never turned off light when there’s still people inside and turned off TV when someone still watching specially without announcement..

Everything is dated and could use a refresh; vending and ice machine not on every floor - had to go to main floor from fourth floor every time needed/ wanted ice, no restaurant - both of these can be an issue for someone with mobility issues
