Very comfortable room with balcony looking at the mountains. Hotel was away from the hustle of downtown Banff, so it was nice and quiet, but still convenient. They gave us free bus passes to get around town for easy access. The staff was very friendly and stay was very comfortable.

The cabin was fabulous! We had our own parking space right near the front door. This made it very easy to unload our luggage and other items! The view from the cabin was of lake Patricia and it was a short walk to the lake itself. The interior of the cabin was just right. It had a sitting room with a gas fireplace. A kitchen with full size refrigerator freezer and stove. The bedroom was just the right size for a couple and the restroom was perfect! We wish we could have spent a week there but our travel plans did not permit us.

Everything is perfect. Staff was amazing. Friendly, helpful, and informative. Facilities are first rate. Hot ordered breakfast was delicious (oh boy, the almond pastries!). And the lake is the star of the show. Only issue is the parks employees at the gate were rude and tried to bully me us. It was a weird power trip. They were very mean and aggressive.

We went to Calgary for the Stampede, which was a superb experience. A big city which has it benefits (transport) and riverside walks but like most cities has its downsides, noise and homeless people. Day trips to the Rockies (Banff) and the Dinosaur Badlands are good options.

Great little destination.. if you are just passing through or using as a base for the local sights and activities. Highlights are the shopping and restaurants on main street, Banff Gondola, the bridges over the Bow River, and an honourable mention for a walk round "The Cascade of Time" gardens... at the Banff National Park Administration Building... a great pic back up main street. We used Banff as a base for a Gondola trip and a trip to see Lake Louise, Moraine and Emerald.. with a stop at the natural bridge. Some great patio spots for food and drink in the evening....

The hotel is clean, rooms have coffee machines and kettle for teas as well as a refrigerator but there’s limited restaurants in the area, since we visited in June not for skiing we had to take a shuttle to Lake Louise and paid for it, the public bus is only $5 but it only runs to 3:45 and it’s very hard to get parking at Lake Louise, the hotel however offers free shuttle to the ski slopes. Most restaurants close at 10 and there’s no downtown area to walk or shops, one night is enough to stay in the area, we liked Banf for a longer stay, it has a nice downtown atmosphere and many restaurants and shops

I love all the dinosaur statues - The Dino Walk. I loved seeing the largest dinosaur and climbing all the steps for the view out of it's mouth. The workers at the Tourist Information Centre were friendly and helpful. I really loved the Hoodoo Trail and the badlands. Wayne and the Last Chance Saloon had a great vibe and friendly workers. Heller Sandwiches were delicious! Drumheller was a great base to go to Royal Tyrrell Museum, Blackfoot Crossing Cultural Centre and trails, and Dinosaur Provincial Park. It was very easy to fly to Calgary airport, rent a car at the airport and drive to Drumheller. We also had time to visit Canmore and Banff. Such a beautiful province! So glad I went!

Very good clean, busy city.

Very good clean, busy city. Local issues with regards to poor, homeless and drug addiction very evident. Day pass for public transport cheap and useful. Good access to Banff (about 90 minutes drive) away, but I found it much cheaper to stay in Calgary and make trips into Banff as needed, as hotels in Banff are very expensive. Also good access to exploring The Rockies from Calgary, there was companies offering good excursions from a down town hotel location.
