Fantastic location with amazing views. Love the gondola lift to get there, even used it to go to base station and back just for fun. We had room with waterfall view and enjoyed the sound of the running water. The best for me was going with the chair lift to the top meadows just on the border with British Columbia. The views are breathtaking.

The location was absolutely perfect, very close to restaurants and shopping. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the room was very quiet even the AC/heat controls were quiet and didn’t blow right on you, the balcony was a wonderful addition and it a great shower. Very cute decor in the bathroom and the hotel itself. We would stay there again!

We got a superior room w mountain views which was perfect! The hotel is set up for it looks like, everyone to have a balcony. Unfortunately some of these balconies are facing other ppls balconies and rooms so very little privacy. Our room was in an area where we basically had a clear view of only mountains, but not sure if we just lucked out. If booking, make sure to try to get (pay for?) a room not staring at other ppl if you can.
Great location w Roam bus to town minutes away available. Coffee & pastries shop and restaurant on property which is nice. Also loved the coffee/tea menu you could fill out and have delivered to your room to make each morning. The touches around room of canoe oars as bureau handles, large modern bathrooms, comfortable beds, spacious rooms w microwave and small frig, table w 2 chairs, attractive colors everywhere, and a dark green velvet comfortable chair in the room!

Banff is a beautiful community, nestled in the mountains and surrounded by some of the most spectacular scenery in the province. The town site is lovely and there is no shortage of things to see and do, especially if you like the outdoors.
I attended the Melissa's Road Race. It was a great event, and we had a beautiful day for running. There was a real "party" vibe to the race and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves.
The town was very busy with lots of tourists which I guess is expected. I would like to return for another visit at some point. The drive from BC into the national parkway was spectacular with the mountains and fall colours at this time of year. Truly stunning natural beauty.

Perfect location for exploring Banff National Park, Yoho National Park & Kootenay National Park. Banff itself became very busy & crowded at weekends. But just bear that in mind & book tables at food places beforehand & it was absolutely fine. Defo worth going up Banff Gondola to see Banff in all it's glory. Tunnel Mountain hike was really good & not too time consuming. Cave & Basin was good & I really enjoyed Buffalo Nations Luxton Museum & Cascade Gardens. Very beuatiful.

Lovely place, very atmospheric.
Lovely place, very atmospheric. Convenient for exploring Canadian Rockies and Canadian Icefields.
Skywalk was an amazing experience. Very nice to walk with a guide. Lots of good restaurants in Banff, however we accidentally picked the weekend with Monday holiday. Avoid those. The place became very crowded and lots of traffic congestions. As a result, we could not visit Lake Louise. There are buses from Banff going there but too crowded due to the long weekend.

The town of Banff is spectacular, not overcrowded good restaurants everywhere and lots of outdoor activities available like hiking walking cycling swimming. We strongly recommend renting e-bikes so you can see way more in your short stay the Banff Springs hotel in spectacular but very very expensive.

Banff is wonderful.
Banff is wonderful. There are so many cute restaurants and shops in the bustling downtown. The river walk is gorgeous, as are the gardens at the end of the Main Street. Unfortunately it is very crowded, so it feels a bit hectic and parking is difficult. If you plan to spend time outside of the downtown area, enjoying the natural beauty, I would recommend staying in Canmore instead of Banff. Canmore is only 10 minutes from Banff further from the main park attractions and is also an extremely cute town with great restaurants and shops. It is a lot less crowded and significantly cheaper. It also has a beautiful river with multiple walking paths, through the town. Banff,Jasper National and Yoho Parks are downright gorgeous. Lake Louise and Moraine Lake are so busy that you are shoulder to shoulder with other tourists. But it is still worth going. Yoho is not to be missed. Emerald Lake is an absolute gem and exceeded our expectations. On our trip we saw moose, bear, elk, big horned sheep, eagles, deer and about a million ground squirrels. Fantastic piece of nature.
The hotel was absolutely beautiful, so much better in person. We had requested an upgrade before we got to the hotel and I would highly recommend it. We ended up staying in the loft with balcony and my goodness was it a luxury feel! Even the parking was fantastic! You are literally steps away from all the restaurants and best shops in Banff!
Breakfast was excellent quality but expensive.
Room was extremely comfortable, good size and great bed. Lighting was rather limited, (similar to other hotels we have stayed in, in Canada.
It was close to downtown and had a nice view from the balcony.
The staff were very kind and our room was clean.
I would like to visit Banff and this hotel again.
