The property was nice, the room was bigger than we expected and had a den for our other 2 guest to sleep in so they did not have to sleep in the living room. The kitchen and baths were nice. The pool was a little cold and the hot tub was a little too hot...but otherwise good. Could have used more coffee in the room and like a dish rag and better dish towels. Nice balcony facing the pool area.

Canmore is nice, but waaaaay to much construction. It used to be quaint and quiet and is now so many people. Some restaurants are closed Tues and Wed due to staff shortage. No affordable housing, no staff. What a shame.
Close to Banff National Park to see wildlife. Good selection of places to eat and pubs to visit. Easy town to get around and some free parking available. Canmore has certainly improved the traffic flow over the past 2 years which makes it a good place to visit for a vacation.
The beauty of Canmore in all seasons is simply worth the travel every time. It's only 25 - 30 mins to Banff so you get a bonus of a good stay and a reasonable price for your acommodation if you book in Canmore to visit both Canmore and Banff.
Everything about Canmore was lovely... the people, the accommodations, restaurants, services available; everything you need and more! Just the view of the surrounding mountains everywhere in town was amazing!! So easy to walk the town and the Roam bus into Banff/Lake Louise is a very convenient feature.
Great downtown with lots of restaurant food choices - food scene was really good. We would have enjoyed more than the Brazillian Steakhouse if we were around for dinners in Canmore. We did a number of day trips.
Hotel Location is Good. But bad services no Washroom at Hotel Lobby we came from far places and we need to go Shoppers Drugmart to used washroom. Big turn off to guests like us.no microwave in Hotel rooms. Washroom toilet bowl dirty. We supposed to stay on 2nd floor and they give us the first floor w/c is for those pet owners..we arrived early at Hotel just to check-in early we came 1:30 pm receptionist said Room is not yet Ready .not worthy for the amount of 334 for 1 night stay..Don't overcharged your guests coz the hotel room is not fit for that price..please upgrade even their coffee maker is too old...Hotel is old need renovation...bad services you need to put on your ads that this hotel is first come first serve basis..to take note that we came early...they don't treated us fairly..we felt disappointed and discriminated..
We were here for just one night, we were in Canmore for a wedding. Location was perfect, close to the Nordic Center and close to downtown. Room was bigger than expected, bed was super comfy, view was a giant mountain! It’s not the newest hotel but it’s super cute walking into it, lodge vibes. Room was clean and the fridge worked! We were super happy. Also, the front desk took care of our taxi arrangements so that was fantastic! Written by: Madeline
Canmore
Overall Lady MacDonald is a nice B&B that is well appointed. The staff are very pleasant, the building is eloquent and in good repair, and the rooms are quiet with comfortable beds and clean bathrooms. Breakfast is good but somewhat limited with a set menu. Location is between the #1 highway and railroad tracks that run through town which is common for many hotels in Canmore. Restaurants are near by with a British style pub next door.
Location is great, in the heart of Canmore. Awesome bathroom, nice room layout with separate room and pull-out bed in living area. Reasonably quiet hotel and lots of postings with expectations of noise respect. Actually probably the best hotel shower I've had. Free and ample parking. Kitchen had 4 of everything. Really nice staff. Thoughtful housekeeping, left little towel animals and notes, just super sweet.
Canmore
Firstly, Canmore is a beautiful town to visit. Our hotel was elderly but with a whole load of ambiance. Clean and comfortable, complimentary breakfast and free wine and cheese between six and seven every evening .....what’s not to like? Staff even provided us with bear spray for our walks. I would have no difficulty recommending this hotel to any of our friends.
Very cozy place, large garage, staff very friendly and helping in everything they were requested. Stoneridge is a better location than resorts in Banff because it is quiet, food is cheaper, gasoline is cheaper (very important) and sightseeing is very pretty all around. Spent about 10 days in this resort and would go back at any time. Very recommendable.
Loved the keyless entry. This hotel which is actually Motel style, has obviously had a total makeover. Very fresh, trendy and clean. Loved the Rocky Mountain Soap products in the bathroom and the Nespresso machine was a nice touch. Can’t beat the location for walkability in Canmore’s town centre.
Breakfast was good at a discounted price with a reservation. Same breakfast each morning. Had to go outside the hotel to access the venue. They fed their staff at the end of the breakfast (11:00 am), which was fine with us. Check + for the Canmore for taking care of their staff.
Canmore
I had travelled from Saskatoon to Fort McMurray to Jasper and finally to Canmore in one week staying in hotels at each location. The most comfortable was the Rundle Mountain Lodge. I will stay here next time I visit Canmore.
Canmore
it was a good experience..trying something new instead of checking in a hotel all the time..it was cold in canmore but the heating works perfectly to keep us warm...everything you need is provided and friendly staff..
The bed and pillows were comfortable. The town of Canmore is great and the hotel is located near a trail that you can walk into town. There were rabbits everywhere, which was kind of fun.
The pool area is the best in Canmore if you have a young family, having a kitchen and all the supplies for cooking is really convenient. The hotel and grind were well kept and clean.
I was blown away with this place ! The price was so reasonable especially for the location and the hotel room was huge ! I’ll be booking here anytime i come to Canmore from now on
Canmore
This was a very well located and clean hotel that was a great value for Canmore. Easy walk downtown. Staff very friendly. Bed was comfortable. I would stay here again.
Room was great, nice size. Loved the bed. Best sleep I've had for a while in a hotel. The location was close to downtown Canmore which was important to us.
The views were amazing!! Very easy trip into Banff and the town of Canmore is very fun too. Would definitely stay at this hotel again!!
Best hotel in Canmore! So comfortable! Love the elevator with the view of the mountains. The pool is great too.
I stay at Basecamp everytime I am in Canmore. Its my fav hotel.
Canmore
Stunning place only 1h drive from Calgary. Cabins are clean, beautiful and had everything we needed to spend a great weekend with the family. Amenities are great. Big games room, pool, hot tub, a small gym, movies, books and board games to borrow. Would definitely recommend and will definitely come back!
we had our own kitchen, living room, work desk area, washer and dryer. It was very clean and even though we were near a life, super quiet. The bath tub was huge.
it was elegant and clean and peaceful
