Located in the heart of Jasper National Park, this hotel offers on-site dining and an indoor pool and hot tub. A sauna and steam room is available. Free Wi-Fi is included in all guest rooms. We planned on staying two nights but didn’t manage to book the same room. One was booked in booking and the other directly on their website. When we arrived the hotel was fully booked but this issue was already taken care of. We were offered the better room for two nights with no extra charge. Excellent service! The room was great, newly renovated ,fit our needs , and was at a great value.

The room was so nice, two very comfortable beds, table by the window to play cards, fireplace, sink and coffee machine and fridge is off on its own, closet with doors, big shower but small bathroom. Quiet. Sleep well. Pool area was great.

A very quite and small town, located in a breathtaking location. Loads and loads of activities throughout the whole year, doesn't matter which time of the year you're visiting you'll absolutely find what to do in the city or the area surrounding it. Lot's of beautiful sights, tracks, parks and lakes just a few minutes drive from the town. Jasper and the area around it suit everyone from the lone extreme traveler to a chill family. A nice variety of hotels, hostels and lodges to choose from, restaurants with tastes from all over the world.
Jasper is a wonderful little town. Very laid back and walking distance is easy to do for leisurely shopping. Grocery stores for picking up extras if needed or plenty of restaurants for dining out. Be sure to book day excursions to Maligne Lake. Columbia Icefield or Jasper skytram. The visitor information centre is located in the middle of town on Connaught Dr.
Even though Jasper is in my home province of Alberta, I haven't been here in over 30 years. I will be making Jasper a more regular trip as it was breathtaking and only 3 hours from my front door. With this kind of scenery and clean mountain air and wildlife is pretty much guaranteed to see along your travels here.
Tiny Railway town with access to some very pretty trails and hiking paths. Wildlife spotting isn't too far off (Big-horned sheep and Elk are often spotted with 5km radius of the town). Beautiful views of the mountain from almost anywhere.
Jasper is small, quaint, quiet and beautiful. It's in a nice valley surrounded by stunning mountains. There's lots of hiking trails, skiing at Marmot Basin, great food in town. Banff is more famous but Jasper is more natural.
There is not much to do in a shoulder season when skiing is over and too early for hiking and hot springs. A lot of elk around the town. A 15 minutes drive to malign canyon and one hour walk round way with a coffee in a fancy canyon wild kitchen is enjoyable. Tramway is overrated, doesn’t worth $50, unless for the people with limited mobility.

Outside looks like a regular Motel, but rooms are extremly comfy, suite style with a seperate bedroom, fully equipped kitchen and other anemities you´d rather expect from a fancy hotel, like quality brand linen or high end toilettery articles. Quiet (except a very view rooms facing the street), safe, close to downtown and relativly inexpensive (for Jasper that is, in general like all Jasper way overpriced). Friendly front desk

Astoria is located on the main drag in Jasper close to shops and other restaurants. The front desk clerks were very friendly and eager to help. The hotel appeared clean, the beds were fairly comfortable and the noise level was acceptable. There was free parking accross the street (no parking at the hotel itself). The Via Rail Station is within walking distance.

This was easily the nicest hotel I’ve ever stayed in! We booked it as it was the only accommodation available in jasper at short notice - we wouldn’t usually pay this much for a hotel but we thoroughly enjoyed the luxury.

It's exactly as said in the description: it's a wildlife hostel! It's NOT a hotel but an all time experience in the middle of a Rockys National Park
