The bath tub was squishy. Very strange. No microwave or hot tub. Elevators made us queezy. No bottles of water in the fridge. Had to ask for bath towels but couldnt figure out how to get to the front desk since the phone In The Room dialed to the corporate office instead of the front desk. Light on the magnified mirror in bathroom was broken.

While the room was comfortable and adequate for my girlfriend and I, it seemed a little on the small side for the cost. I was also slightly confused as to why there was no indication that the restaurant did room service. Perhaps I'm expecting too much from a Best Western, and I do appreciate the desire to save waste from printing menus and whatnot. I just thought it was a shame not to advertise the option, given the high quality delivered by the restaurant.

The staff were all very helpful, polite and friendly. Especially the restaurant staff, a lovely server called Harmony in particular was excellent. I was very happy with the view from the room, which was much improved after the windows were washed.

The hotel was in the midst of a labor strike. Although the management tried to supply everything required, certain things had to be sacrificed. During that week, the outside temps reached near 100 degrees, but the swimming pool was not available because the crew that maintained it was on strike. The picketers outside, although very courteous, had to be dealt with every time we entered the building. The picketers were also very loud, they could be heard all day and most of the night, all the way up to our 17th floor room. In all fairness, the hotel did call us a few days before we arrived to inform us of the strike, but they assured us that no services were affected. Not quite the case.

The view, the primary reason for our visit, was fabulous! We could net have asked for more, in that regard. The staff was as friendly as any I’ve ever encountered. The food at the restaurant was good, but rather on the expensive side. All in all, a nice place to stay, under the circumstances.

1 thing only floor 7 didn't have ice machine only even number floors so I visited 8 then 6 the 4 they were out of service or just not running , went to front desk , and redirected myself to Level 20 for the working ice machine , I should have asked at check in or I didn't listen to well ?

*I booked many months ago in the winter Being that they had union related labor dispute / strike outdoors , business inside was well done and no shortage of service , nice place for walking distance to the casino 5 min , and anywhere nearby

There was a strike happening between the hotel and the employees which was not mentioned during booking or while checking in. The constant loud music being played out front in addition to having every single car pass by and honking their horns was a nightmare. If you wanted to relax in your room just know it sounded like downtown rush hour between 5am - 11pm every single day.
