Our room was comfortable and very clean. Check in was quick and straightforward. Denis is very friendly and helpful. The motel is about a 10 minute walk into the little town which is situated in a very picturesque spot. If you like walking and enjoying nature the Foley Conservation area is the place to go.

Disappointed with Booking.com. Misrepresented by booking.com. According to booking.com my room was to be in the rear of the motel & water view. There was no rooms in the back & no water to be found except in the bathroom E-mailed booking.com a few times & they haven't bothered to respond because they know they lied about this place. Shame on you booking.com. You've lost a customer!!!!

Nice clean room. Bed not very comfy. It looked like the room had recently been renovated. Great shower but hard to get the hot water to come on. Very quiet. Friendly staff

We had 2 double beds instead of a queen, the washroom was really really small. Their was supposed to be a hairdryer and their wasn't and we get the tv to work (no signal)

The man was really nice. Ioved the fact that you walk right out of your door and you can sit outside. I particularly loved that we have the option to do a camp fire out back. The man even helped is to get it started. Walking distance to Westport downtown and the waterfront.

There was only one pillow for each person and they were pretty flat, some better pillows would be a great improvement. An extra blanket in the room would have been nice, the one on the bed was clean and soft but a little to light for me. Pretty minor issues really, just honest feedback.

Owner Denis was kind and made check in comfortable with some light conversation. Room was very clean and bed was comfortable. We had a problem with the TV and Denis came to the room right away to take a look at it. Customer service was clearly a priority.

I had to pay extra for my little dog. The rooms are quite a bit more expensive than in the past.

Our room was fully renovated. The staff were very friendly and kind. The motel is central to everything in Westport.

No complaints. Booking.com should notify the property when customers like me are booking a room with a pet. The property was welcomed my pet and didnt give me a run down room like most hotels do. There was a $10 pet fee for additional cleaning.

I didn’t like that the main door to the room had no peep hole, the door knob was really old and simple key operated, there was no deadbolt lock from the inside and or security chain. The door gasket casing on one side was falling off. The curtains on main window are too long, when we turned the heat on we had to tuck the curtain up into the window sill so heat would blow into room. Only gave us on Keirug coffe pod per guest and none for next morning. Couldn’t find a 2 double bed option on website vs. a 2 queen , so I think I paid more.

The beds were extremely comfortable and clean. All appliances worked. Room was very clean and quiet. Parked right in front of our door. Well located in the town and convenient to restaurants and shopping.

The booking.com listing is misleading regarding facilities. We booked this to get the kitchenette, but only some rooms have one. The room we were offered didn't. The proprietor was very kind and moved us to another room that did, but we should not have to specify something that is not listed as optional. The following were also listed as included but not provided: lake view (this is just not true), walk-in closet (it is a regular closet), carpeted (it's all tile or laminate), dining table (there were 2 dressers and one dining chair; one of the dressers could be replaced by a table and an additional chair). The following are listed as included and probably be available on request, but weren't there by default: iron, kettle, toaster (the small kitchen would be very crowded with all of these items). That said, we got a perfectly adequate motel room if you are dining out, but it is not fully equipped to cook and eat meals in comfort.

Best value in town. Location ideally located for exploring quaint town of Westport (5 minute walk from the town centre) and paddling on the Rideau Lakes. Large parking lot which was easily able to accommodate our two vehicles.
