There's a window in the bedroom looking directly into the bathroom. When the bathroom light is switched on you can see the person using the bathroom. I found that very strange......

The hotel and garden area are really nice. It's very relaxing to sit outside at the pond/bar area. The hotel is very modern, and the staff were very helpful. We were given free passes for the public transport which was great.

Only a comment that we would have liked the option to reuse our towels rather than have them renewed every day.

Very warm welcome from reception staff, which continued throughout our stay into the restaurant and room service. Exquisite hotel a short walk across a picturesque bridge into the centre of Bern, or from the front door take the free (for tourists) tram or bus from Kursaal throughout Bern. Spotlessly clean room with lovely toiletries, beautiful linen on our comfortable bed, and coffee maker. Buffet breakfast in the soaring Atrium was always exceptional and the Great Asian Dream buffet dinner absolutely delicious. The variety on the dessert table was outstanding. The garden verandah was a peaceful retreat to enjoy the view with coffee or a drink.

We didn't have the breakfast as it didn't quite seem worth the cost, unless you were ravenous. Our room overlooked the side road and there was a little bit of traffic noise in the morning, but it wasn't so much that it would put us off staying again.

The location was perfect for exploring the city. The room was tastefully decorated, clean, and spacious. Drinks in the mini bar were included, and shampoo etc. provided. There was a bus stop right outside the hotel.

This is not a problem of this hotel specifically, it's something I am struggling with in general: I understand that I need to pay an extra fee for bringing a dog. That is only fair, after all the housekeeping staff will need a little longer to clean the room since there may be dog hai on the floor... I get that and I am absolutely fine with it. What I don't understand is why I usually have to pay that fee per dog when we travel with more than one dog.

This has been our second stay at this hotel and it was the same super positive experience again we had this Easter weekend. The staff at the reception desk is second to none when it comes to friendliness and making you feel welcome. Immediate relaxation! Rooms are a great combination of functional and stylish. No excessive luxury or anything, but what you need done in a very nice way.

The only dissappointment was the AC that we don't like and that we couldn't turned off.

The room was nice and clean, the beds were really comfortables, the location was perfect, close to the center of the city. The hotel has a little pond with carp koi and our son loved watching them. The breakfast was excellent and the staff was really nice and helpful. We had a delightful stay and would come back to this hotel any time.

It is mentioned at Booking description of the Hotel that it has air condition but actually it has only cooling system and most probably during this summer time you will need a Fan to support .
