Nothing in principle, we have stayed one night only in the city.

Location-wise, the hotel is 5-7 minutes away from the central station. There is a small uphill to reach it but not something tremendous. Room was spacious, beds were ok. The reception guy was really friendly and professional, offering also some swiss chocolate. A good option for our purpose of staying one night.

I only had a brief stay in Zurich, but I found the staff very friendly while being professional/informative. The hotel itself is very central and close to all forms of public transport. In conlusion,I would recommend this hotel as a solo traveller.

A bit old and worn. Small rooms.

A very basic hotel in an excellent location (very close to the central station). Small but clean room. Lots of channels on the tv. To access the WiFi, you had to get an access code sent to you via text message - a bit weird, but worked. The app Hotelbird app lets you unlock your room using bluetooth (to me it wasn't clear that that's what it did). Breakfast is quite good, with a lot to choose from, including scrambled eggs, bacon, croissants, yoghurt and fresh fruit.

There was mold on the bathroom ceiling and tiles. This seems out of character for such a charming hotel in every other way. Otherwise, it was very clean.

An older, basic hotel, but very charming. Staff were superb, helpful and kind in every aspect. Beds were comfortable and shutters rolled down to black out the room. Hotel was quiet, no street noise. Everything was clean. I only had coffee, but the breakfast looked plentiful and well prepared. Coffee was great.

The hotel is very well located 2 tram stops far from the train station and 1 from ETH. Rooms are essential but clean. The hotel is one of the few in Zurich with a good price vs services ratio, most of the others are extremely over rated. In addition, the staff is very kind and ready to help. Suggested to people in town for short business stay.

Breakfast was very overpriced for what was available. But, we did enjoy the special seasonal breakfast tea available separately. The hotel also had a nice selection of beer and wine available at reasonable prices.

Room was on the top floor and had a nice view over the city. It was comfortable and clean. The staff of Serge and Nico were outstanding. The location was directly across from the tram line and another was a short walk away. The hotel was only two tram stops from the train station. The city was very accessible. I am glad we stayed here.

The hot water for shower/bath was super hot. But I was too tired to negotiate, so I just took a bath by using cold water from sink to adjust the temperature before sleep.

Location is good. I was there for conference at ETH. I just needed no more than 5 minutes walk to the meeting place. Because I took train to Zurich directly after my work, I arrived around 21:00. I'd using message to tell the staff I probably be there during 21-22:00 which is still in the checking time but quite late. And I guess I was the last one. The receptor still gave me a friendly welcome. Moreover, they'd like to offer me bottle water and ice cream for free.

It’s basic but can’t really find anything to complain about

The hotel is centrally located to Zurich’s large train station and also teams making it a great place to get around easily. It’s a great value for money, while the facilities are relatively basic, it’s very clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful providing any extra pillows, blankets etc promptly. The breakfast is also a great value for money and I highly recommend it.

Small room. Small bathroom, poorly located, with slanted shelves (stuff sliding off). Too small pillows for my taste and no extra pillows. No tea in the room, and I had to pay for a cup. Not enough wall plugs. Overall most of the features you expect from a hotel were somehow there, but poorly done. Also stuff was rather confused and inefficient even if reasonably friendly. There are much better hotels for this price in Zurich.

Nothing to not like. Bit of an uphill trek coming back from the old town water front if you’re looking for really east walk to/from, that could be a consideration. But we did really mind.
