We enjoyed the Polynesian decor, the privacy of the bungalows, and having our own lanai. We loved hearing the spund of the waves! The fully equipped kitchenette was a bonus. We really liked the wonderful tropical outdoor shower and bath too. The pool was clean and refreshing! Lawrence, Simone and Jayne were readily available either on site or by phone. When Lawrence picked us up at the airport, he made a stop at a local market so we could buy supplies before we checked in. There are restaurants and bars an easy walk along the beach from Magic Reef.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Magic Reef in Rarotonga. Our room was a perfect blend of beauty and comfort, meticulously clean and provided a private haven. The location exceeded our expectations, offering an ideal setting for our getaway whilst being a walking distance away from bars and restaurants. The staff, always friendly and personable, went above and beyond to ensure our stay was exceptional. Their helpfulness added a personal touch to our experience. The facilities, including impeccably clean snorkel equipment and convenient electric cars, truly enhanced our stay. Overall, we couldn't have asked for a better accommodation that surpassed our expectations in every aspect. We will be returning.

Magic Reef was amazing! The bungalows are very comfortable and thoughtfully fitted out with free wifi and beautiful outdoor shower. The environmental considerations are fantastic with no single use plastics, compost for food scraps and ability to hire electric car on-site. The team are happy to make your stay as enjoyable as possible with recommendations for places to eat, snorkel and sightseeing. We had a great time drinking local beers and watching the whales swim past at sunset.

Magic Reef was a wonderful find on Rarotonga, with such friendly welcoming hosts, great beachfront position close to restaurants, very comfortable and cute island style bungalows, e-cars to hire, great pool and quiet location. We watched whales frolicking just off the nearby reef, beautiful!

Amazing views on to the beach. Hosts, Simone and Lawrence were very welcoming. Pick up at the airport was good. Outside shower initially takes a little confidence, but was a good shower, hot and powerful! Welcome fruit platter was a nice touch as were the welcome beers!

Magic Reef, was as the name suggests MAGIC! Lawrence gave us a wonderful warm welcome and great reccomendations! Magic the dog is a sweetie, happy to sit with you on the beach, as was Captian the cat, who loves a bit of attention! The bungalows have a view out to the beach, where at the right time of year (Aug for us) you can spot whales frollicking in the water right in front of the resort. Perfect place to unwind listening to the waves crash and palm trees rustle in the breeze. Great location, walking distance to places to eat (Beluga and On The Beach were great) and Dive Rarotonga. The resort had everything you needed and more, free wifi, drinking water, juice, milk, delicious fruit platter, homemade museli,  jams and fresh ground coffee. Facilties were clean and offered everything we needed for our stay, love the outdoor shower!

The property is in magnificent location, with a pretty secluded beachfront that you often get all to yourself. There's only a few bungalows and the layout provides privacy which was amazing. Outdoor bathroom was stunning, and the interior space was very comfortable, including a great bed. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful, and we loved the electric cars on offer for a very reasonable rental price.

The bungalos are very well equipped, clean and beautiful. Great quiet location on Rarotonga. The managers owners Lawrence and Simone and staff are incredibly nice. I miss them already. They make you feel like family. Very helpful for our stay.

Loved the tiki cottage and glorious beach views, great hospitality from our hosts... including Magic the Dog and the one-eyed cat! Simone was very generous and lovely. Lots of nice touches including a great breakfast spread.

the bungalows were comfortable, decks positioned towards the water set in immaculate grounds. fruit platter, bread and homemade muesli and jam was a nice surprise. juice, water and milk all in reusable containers. electric cars for hire too. great hosts Simone and Lawrence all recommendations for dining excellent.

Beautiful private bungalow right on the beach, very comfortable and clean. Short walks along the beach to surrounding restaurants. Simone and Lawrence are fantastic hosts. Would definitely recommend as a couple's getaway.
