For the price of the stay, I felt the restaurant could have had a bit more variation in the meals.

Right in the forest! You'll see plenty of birds and reptiles on hotel grounds. They do a great job of helping to organize tours for you. The staff is very accommodating.

It would be nice to have solar power for warmer showers. That shower after the sweaty night hike was necessary but cold.

Beautiful lodge style main building, well maintained and huge swimming pool. Bedroom feels spacious with king size bed and fan. Loved the hammocks around the property for chilling. Fast Starlink Wi-Fi. Amazing to have all these comforts in the middle of the jungle. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

the bed frame was supported by wood beams but it seemed like there were pieces missing , therefore the bed sunk in. I highly recommend to travel light because you have to walk a bit far to get to the hotel from where the boat docks. Don't bring any luggage of any size just keep it in a bag pack.

The food options were great and the food always tasted fresh. The beverages also were very good and complimented the food very well. the staff were very attentive and even made sure we never missed any of our meals.

It was the best part of our seven week stay in Colombia. The staff was just amazing. The food was the best we had in the whole of Colombia. We could have stayed forever. The tours we did were also great. I cannot recommend it enough.

Great hotel in the middle of the rainforest. Tours available. Great pool, with beautiful surroundings. Rooms are nice and protected from mosquitoes. The souvenir shop is cheap and has many things locally made. You won't get a better deal anywhere else. We had a great experience talking to other guests. Everyone was friendly.

In my opinion, it would be nice to be more prepared for heavy rains (it's the Amazon forest). We could not get drinks/ snacks during the rain because the bar is outside. Also there are not many activities to do during the rain. I suggest to have more board games, maybe ping-pong or any other kind of activities.

The views are amazing. It's a place to disconnect and share some time with the real jungle.

Many of the tours offered are through a third party and coordinated with Hotel Amazon. These tours were maybe too "touristy", so if you're looking to get away from it all, some of these tours may not be for you.

The room could have used more hooks and towel bars to hang up wet things such as towels, swimsuits, and sweaty clothes, and more hangers in the little closet/wardrobe. Since the property is eco-friendly, and electricity is largely from solar panels and a generator, there is only one power outlet in the room (for the fan), and no AC, hot water, or TV. There were times when a warm shower would have been nice, but in the afternoons, a cool shower really hit the spot! And it generally cooled down enough in the evening that it was cool enough to sleep with just the fan running. The mattress was pretty comfortable but the canopy frame was a little unstable so that the whole thing rocked every time one of us rolled over. Overall, very minor complaints, and we were pretty comfortable for our 3 night stay. But we were ready to go back to civilization on day 4!

First, don't think of this as a hotel, but more of a jungle experience (think: glamping meets Holiday Inn.) The staff are amazing and incredibly warm and friendly. The meals, although a bit repetitive, were tasty and filling. How many ways can they cook the giant Amazonian fish piraricu? (about 4). The staff did their best to accomodate special requests, though (milk for the kiddo, french fries instead of plantains, whipping up some truly killer hot salsa to spice things up a little..). After completing the day's hot and sweaty activities, the pool was lovely and our barman was ready with cold beers and Gatorade and a frivolous show on the big flat screen. The guided activities that we booked through the hotel (dolphin watching, a trip to monkey island, and a jungle hike to the nearby indigenous community) were good values and our guides were really sweet. Best of all, since we seemed to be there off-season, we pretty much had the whole place to ourselves for 2 of our 3 nights. Being immersed in the jungle environment was really cool, if at times overwhelming, but the hotel had many touches to make the best of it - comfy hammocks hanging everywhere for afternoon naps, mosquito nets to keep the bugs out of your bed at night, and a pretty cool treehouse to get a bird's eye view of the property and surrounding jungle.

Arranging the boat to the property seemed a bit confusing and very limited times.

The property is about a 40 minute boat ride up the river from Leticia. We had to meet at the office in town at 7am to pay and then walk to the dock about a kilometre to take the boat to the property. The room was clean, bed was comfortable, the property is large but when we were there there were very few guests. The hotel arranged a few tours for us and the night tour especially was amazing done by our guide Juan. Special thanks to Herman for taking care of us and Ricardo at the bar who was great. We found the staff wonderful and really helpful.

I would have chosen to do the full day in Puerto Narino instead of the los micos activity. And definitely have brought more pants and deet!

The facilities are amazing. The food is good. The staff is so friendly and helpful. I loved every minute of my stay. It was so easy, they set up all the transportation and helped set up activities. A wonderful place to stay!
