We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

United StatesThe first message I received when I booked was that there was no gate and we could come and go. When we arrived at 8pm, there was a gate with a code and so I had to call and receive the code (which is totally fine), but they told me I had already received the code even though I had not… I loved the fact there was a gate for safety, but maybe send the code ahead of time. Also, there is no shower barrier, so the shower water will seep into the bedroom from the bathroom. Ask for extra towels. And if you get chilly at night, ask for an extra blanket.
I liked the overall feel/vibe of the property! The staff were nice when we needed something and the breakfast was yummy!

PortugalWell it’s not a dislike - it gets a bit loudly the sound of frogs and nature at night, I could sleep but my partner couldn’t sleep well. I feel is the balance of what one might wants - nature vs silence.
The relax area and the original facilities. Breakfast was also very good (traditional CR). WiFi worked perfectly all over the property.

Costa RicaBreakfast was great, the location is a little bit further away from La Fortuna Downtown, but the view of the volcano and the weather is incredible, if you are travelling by car this is the place to stay! Room was very clean, its a bit small, similar to a glamping experience, but it feels very cozy :)

United StatesWater in both cabins never got warm, which was disappointing after a long day of exploring. I tried to communicate with owners after our 1st day there but never heard back. Staff were not always on property during 8-5 hours so you’re on your own if needed anything
The view was amazing. The cabins were very cute and comfortable. We had 2 cabins to accommodate 2 adults and 3 teens, the 3 person cabin felt crowded but worked ok since we were only there at night time. Staff were nice and accommodating when they are there.

United StatesThe only two problems we had were less the fault of the owners but I’m mentioning them here because I was grateful that they addressed the problems immediately.the place is in a more rural part of town so noises from animals nearby sometimes interrupted our sleep. The owner was quick to correct this. The second issue was that our cabin had pretty low water pressure for the hot water and it didn’t get quite hot enough to our liking. It wasn’t a big issue and you are surrounded by plenty of hot springs to enjoy so I don’t think it ruined our trip at all. If they owners were able to get better water pressure and more range of water temperature I believe it would make this place quite luxurious in its intimate charming way.
The place is very picturesque. The charm of the cabins and the large tree made it feel like a true adventure. The place is more of a collection of 6 cabins so there are very few people on the property at a time. It felt like you’re going to summer camp with “glamp” style cabins (glamorous camping). The morning breakfast is cooked by the wife of the owner and was probably some of our favorite meals during our whole trip in Costa Rica. The cabins have a full bathroom and air conditioning so we were pretty comfortable in our rooms. The view of the volcano in the morning framed by the interesting architecture of the cabins windows was one of my favorite moments of the trip. We were lucky that the volcano wasn’t covered in clouds our first morning. The staff was incredibly accommodating and generous. The owner speaks English fluently and the wife who was making the breakfast was happy to utilize google translate as needed and she was very very friendly even through the language barrier. You can tell she cared a lot about your experience, since she would bring us extra things before we even needed to ask such as a little folding table or some aluminum foil to pack our food “to go”.
