The staff at the Lodge were amazing. Nathan and his family were so friendly and helpful. And, the view from our was beautiful.

The location is perfect! Located outside of town where it is quiet with a beautiful view of the ocean and mountains. The lodge is beautiful, modern, and very clean. The food was wonderful, the family running it was very kind, and I felt safe and comfortable. I think it is the best place around Samara.

The road from the beaches are dirt roads and it is definitely better to have 4x4 wheel car.

Nathan and his family are the best hosts we have had the opportunity to meet on our trip to Costa Rica! This accommodation is really worth it - amazing breakfast, equipped kitchen, coffee available all day. Nice pool and even better views. Their commitment is great and they did everything they could to make us enjoy our stay. 15 minutes to amazing beaches. We prefer Carrillo beach but others were also very nice.

Can't think of anything. It is off the beaten path and you need a car for sure. Part of the charm.

Our host, Nathan and his family were so friendly and great to talk to, the breakfast were absolutely outstanding and delicious, and dinner was cooked for us upon request, which was equally tasty. Even a lovely assortment of wines to choose from! Our bungalow was absolutely gorgeous!!

We loved our stay at las Estrellas!!! Great amazing views from our room. Beautiful sunset. Nice pool. Great deck with a nice breeze. Nathan is an excellent host and great cook! Breakfast was a lovely surprise everymorning. For sure we will come back when visiting Samara! Blessings to you and your lovely family✨🌸☀️👏 4-wheel drive is important because it is steep uphill and rocky/sandy

the road to the accommodation was partially bumpy and steep but we managed it pretty well, even without a 4x4. just make sure to have a car with a bit of a ground clearance and you'll be fine

Nathan was such a fantastic host - helping us in several ways (directions/dinner/breakfast/advice). The view from our room was just amazing. Breakfast was delicious too. This was the perfect place to enjoy our time Costa Rica - only wish we could have stayed longer! Best to have a 4x4 to get there.

Perfect stay, wonderful location, breathtaking view and super kind and helpful hosts! Nathan welcomed us and cooked a superb dinner. The breakfast is fantastic and very varied. Even when we forgot to order it, Nathan was super nice and made us something last minute. He also gave us a lot of advice on where to go and what places to visit. He and his family were really nice! The room was very clean and spacious. The pool and outdoor kitchen are beautiful and everything is very clean. Thank you Nathan & family, we loved to stay at your amazing place.
