Rough off road up a challenging steep hill.

Unique jungle experience. The junior suite exceeded expectations as did the staff, pool and bar/breakfast area. Despite us having a week of rain, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Bryan and the team work very hard to ensure your comfortable and have lots of advice so you can make happy memories at Satta. It is a long way from the main road, good as long as you have a car or enjoy a good hike up the hill! Though the Tuk Tuks are a great way to get around and are relatively cheap. Make sure you take some guided experiences to get the most of this area.

We loved living in the jungle! The view from the bungalow was green and calming. The staff were warm and very helpful. Breakfast area lovely and food good. It was a nice sanctuary after a busy day. Bryan was especially kind & helpful. Thank you!

Nothing, just a note for people that are sensitive with noise: the monkeys and birds can get really loud at night so you better be prepared for that

Breakfast, Villa in the Jungle, all surrounded by nature, sloths, monkeys and co can be watched from the breakfast and villas, whole place filled with peace and very clean. We really loved our stay here

Set right in the jungle this place is so beautiful and amazing value compared to other places we stayed in Costa Rica. Each room is its own lodge surrounded by trees and vegetation so there is lots of privacy and it feels like your the only people there. The staff were outstandingly helpful and helped us organise a private mangrove kayak trip, which was wonderful. Breakfast was nice, self service and very relaxed. The pool was great. The water is quite cold, but that's ok, because the weather is pretty hot! There were board games and books for everyone to use. It had a very relaxed feel, like you were visiting a friends home. The rooms themselves are beautiful, great bathroom and you can hear nature as you sleep which was really nice. I'd highly recommend it here and would happily go back.

It's far away from the city but it was decribed in this way, so It wasn't thing I didn't like, but you have to remember that if you want to go outside and you don't have a car, ten mosty you will be needed uber/taxi or tuk tuk

This place was a slice of heaven! Beautiful lodges at the edge of the rainforest where you can spot monkeys from your balcony. The whole site is beautiful, with a great swimming pool and delicious breakfast. The staff were all super welcoming and kind.

I love the rooms and how cozy everything felt. The host was amazing and very friendly, the bungalows are nice and well designed. The breakfast was delicious, I appreciate real eggs on a breakfast so much. It felt like a very personalized, boutique experiencdid. We did not had a chance to dive in the pool but it looked amazing surrounded by so much nature. It is not that close to downtown, but I usually prefer to stay at places like that.

The location was just amazing, the breakfast was delicious and you really feel like in a rainforest. The surrounding plants and animals make you want to just sit at the pool and take everything in forever. The host was really friendly and laundry service worked very well. My boyfriend also had his birthday and the host organized a cake in the morning! We definitely want to come back - best stay in Costa Rica!!

We have been to the Caribbean side several times before and this was by far my favorite place. Location is close from the main road but you really feel secluded. We had howler monkey outside our room most mornings for the 5 days we were there! Also saw toucans on the property and red eyed frogs. You don't need to go anywhere to see great wildlife! Our bungalow was clean and easy to access but felt like you were in the middle of the jungle. Brian and the staff were very nice and hospitable and Brian knows all the great places to go snorkeling, kayaking, horseback riding and the best places to eat. He is a wealth of knowledge. The breakfast was incredible each morning and the drinks in the late afternoon were some of the best I have ever had. Next time we come back we are definitely staying there!

Generally nothing. Just the price was a bit higher than other accommodations we had in Costa Rica.

- Super friendly owners which kept us informed by WhatsApp and helped us with health issues we had. Thanks again for that! - The pool was amazing - The suite has been amazing and the sound of the jungle was amazing - The interior was very modern. You have to be aware that you are staying in the jungle and that there could be visitors from the jungle (ants, etc.).

The road leading up to the property is a gravel road and is quite bumpy, not a deal breaker but good to know ahead of time.

Beautiful secluded feeling property. You’re surrounded by lots of wildlife! I was able to see lots of monkeys jumping through the trees overhead.

The road to the accommodation was a bit bumpy, but that should be our biggest problem. :)

It was an amazing place in the jungle, yet close to the main road and Puerto Viejo. Breakfast was always fresh, with delicious smoothies and crepes. All the staff members and owners were super nice and showed us attention. The villa was well equipped, comfortable and very clean.

You need a car or a bike. It isn’t walking distance from main activities and the beaches.

The experience was amazing the bungalows are integrated in the jungle, you are surrounded by nature and animals. The rooms were very comfortable and with excellent taste. Not a lot of people so it made it feel very exclusive.

That we didn't stay longer.

Very helpfull and kind, everything has been thought of, including water to drink. Very clear communication. The surrounding is very peacefull and very pura vida. Breakfast is the best, many options to choose from and tasty. We honestly could not think of something to improve. PS. Don't miss out and on the iced coffee, Bryan makes the best!
