Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

CyprusRenovation of the hotel is required. Breathe in new life. Please remove the photo of the outside pool from the booking, it does not work. The pool inside is very cold.
The hotel is in a wonderful location, fresh pine air, beautiful view from the room. A hotel with its own history. The room is very clean, there is a kettle, tea, coffee. A small balcony. The breakfasts are modest, but there is enough of everything. For 75 euros - perfect!

SingaporeMy husband was looking forward to swimming in the pool but the pool was closed.
Room is nice and clean, we like the quiet environment. The breakfast is quite hearty although we don't usually take much breakfast in the morning. We stayed there because of the cool air and we were visiting the Troodos mountain to birdwatch.

CyprusYou can clearly tell the age of the hotel. The bathrooms were old and the smell was really bad especially during the night. We informed the receptionist which he says that it’s know to the management.

United KingdomIt's sad that the outdoor swimming pool doesn't appear to be used anymore, although there is an indoor pool. The fried breakfast was a little bit greasy, but there are plenty of other options to choose from.
The hotel is a magical glimpse into life 50-80 years ago. There are lots of charming references to previous illustrious guests. It now has a rather neglected air and was very quiet when we arrived, which gave it the feel of the hotel in the film 'The Shining'. But a couple of days later, on the bank holiday week-end, it was full of families who presumably had driven up from the coast for the week-end. The staff coped incredibly well with this sudden influx. Our executive room was much like an old-fashioned 3-4 star hotel room in the UK. The bed was very comfortable. Our balcony had a lovely view over the valley. It was a fascinating place to stay for 3 days and the location was great for visiting the Troodos mountains. It is a 10-15 minute walk into the village, where there are lots of cafe's and restaurants if you don't fancy eating in the hotel restaurant.

CyprusRoom was clean and the bed was good. The window did not close properly (old) but the temperature in the room was very comfortable so did not affect much. The shower mixer was very old, but the water temperature was warm and had decent pressure. Breakfast was decent, coffee could have been better.

United KingdomNothing for us:) however the hotel is looking in need of TLC, mostly the outside. The indoor pool wasn’t heated during our stay … but there were few guests so that made sense.
This hotel is in a time warp …. In a good way… the decor, mid century furniture and the history of a bygone age gave the hotel its charm . The staff were very friendly and attentive, we ate both nights…. And the food was very good. The room was large, warm with a big comfortable bed, and the view was amazing… (7th floor). Breakfast was good and plentiful. Great location … close to Troodos village, walks to top of Mount Olympus , Mouflon enclosure, Caledonian waterfall trail, also Tsiakkes Winery ( wine tasting) and 30 minutes drive to Lofou for excellent home cooked Cypriot food.
