Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews

I think, we got the hotel during the renovation. The bathroom was already very nice, the bedroom however, was very frugal. We missed the bed lamps, in the whole room, there was only one ceiling lamp, with uncomfortable light. Check-In was very easy :)

Location is super. Bus station 4.min walking. For Money it is excellent option. Very clean, bed's are comfortable, room was very warm, breakfast also ok.

Service and the Bed
The room was very small and Room service was not so great. But, it was manageable for the short stay we had. Language was also a bit of trouble for us. so cant blame them.

Short beds, quite far from the city center, no elevator. We had two rooms, so needed to pass by room to go to a toilet which is not ideal as we give discomfort or wake up sleeping people in the first room

No breakfast at hotel or options for breakfast within walking distance. Not a problem for us, but a bit difficult for children.
Very cheap option in the suburbs of Prague. Was very convenient for a one night stay with family.

Staff wasn't helpful at all. The shower soap wasn't flowing out and they lied about coming to the room during the day, after being informed, to verify and fix it. They just did not care. Edit in response: Oh wow how could I guess I had to press the dispenser for the soap to flow out? That's news to me. What actually happened is that the bottle of soap was not opened and I did not notice the first time. That's on me! Guests should open the bottles themselves I guess. And your dispenser is beyond broken, even with an opened bottle. But you would have found out these two things yourself if you had the hospitality to check for yourself instead of presuming your guests are dumb. And finally, you definitely lied by telling me by message "the soap was there", which meant you actually went to the room, which you did not, otherwise you would have opened the bottle.

The internet wifi was slow at first, then gone completely for the rest of our stay. There was no one who spoke English if we needed help. The plumbing was terrible. Every time someone in the building flushed a toilet, our shower gurgled and emitted horrible odours. The air fresheners, bowl cleaners and air sprayings did nothing to improve it. We eventually stuffed towels over the drains to block the smell. It was far from any amenities.
Check in and check out were easy. The beds were ok. Tea and instant coffee provided in the room were nice. Cute little chocolates and candies.

Upon arrival, the room smelled of chlorine and sewage. There were women's hairs in the bed.
When I requested an invoice with company details, I received it promptly.

There was noise in our room like it was some kind of constantly working motor, engine. The room was dirty and there were lots of mosquitos in the room. I have mentioned 1 double bed, but there were just 2 twin beds connecting together. In the booking there was an option to request a crib with no fee mentioned, but in the hotel we were told that we must pay for the crib extra 10€. All and all it was our worst stay in Prague.
The staff and the location was good.

I was overcharged about 20% over what booking.com said and what was already a high price. I got a room without Internet and television but eventually moved to another room with these facilities. Staff person not professional and speaking no English.

Drunk people wake me up at 2 am every night. Hotel staff said it’s not their responsibility. Also my room didn’t have any blinds in 4 windows so you have to wake up with the natural light at 5:30 am

Is super dirty, unfriendly stuff, the beds were full with bed-insects, it looked like they knew about this problem. We had to go through many problems starting with throwing out clothes away till going through the biggest difficulty of finding an alternative.
