Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

quite a distance from the airport especially if you have a morning flight. cab fare can be quite expensive without free shuttle

One of the receptionists was very unfriendly. Cold room and sheets not fitted to the bed.
Very clean, airport shuttle was very convenient (although be aware of the time, I couldn’t get one after 10pm).

It would be nice to have some coffee in the room. Bedsheet was not very clean.
Room was great! Free shuttle service from and to airport and all staff were all superb.

Really nice staff ,pick up and drop off at Frankfurt was really good, just a shame that Govt makes life so difficult for this industry due to their attempt to eradicate a virus, staff even made us a coffee to go back to the airport. Cant stress enough how nice the staff was. Be amazed if this post gets posted uncensored, or if at all, there can be only one opinion now days.

the room in the front above the entry people smoke there and all the smoke came up into my room

All was great with the stay except that I specifically chose this hotel because it had a shuttle from the airport. I waited over an hour for the shuttle and then ended up taking and expensive taxi. When I mentioned this to the clerk he said I had to call to have to shuttle come get me but nowhere on the booking or description of the hotel mentioned this. I am an international traveller so my phone didn't work to make phone calls. Made my super affordable hotel stay...less affordable. I did get the shuttle back the airport in the morning though!
Staff were friendly. They had wall plug adapters which I really needed. Rooms were clean.

I didn't like that there was no air conditioning. At night it was very hot and I couldn't sleep. At least one fan in the room would have helped.

Bad smell, little facilities (no coffee/tea), noisy fridge. People et the entrance talking loudly at the entrance until 4 am.
Good breakfast. View with trees, could open window for fresh air. Doors to separate sleeping area from noisy fridge. Room on higher floor.

The shuttle service is a little slow, you end up spending a lot of time waiting. Room was spacious but very basic.
Bathroom was good. Breakfast is nice and friendly service.

The carpet on the floor of my room was not very clean but the toilet was perfectly clean

Our reservation got automatically canceled although we left a note to the hotel informing them of our late arrival time. When we arrived at the hotel, the receptionist refused to reinstate our reservation and created a new reservation with a higher price. After a long argument, we had to pay the extra money since we were super tired after a long trip.

Wait time for shuttle service pickup at the airport was too long should cater to people without a working sim card in Germany as I had to use Skype told them had no contact to receive calls while in Germany
Wait time for shuttle was a bit longer than expected however hotel staff and room was perfect, staff were welcoming and friendly. Room and bathroom facilities were very comfortable and good. Would recommend to friends and family
