If this one thing had been better, I would probably have not noticed many of the negatives: the breakfast. They charged me 18 EUR a day for a breakfast with hardly any options at all! At least the first day when someone came to check my room number (perhaps to check if I had booked breakfast), he also asked if I would like a warm freshly made bowl of scrambled eggs with bacon. That was good! The second day, someone did ask me about my room number, but then she did not ask what I would like. If the buffet was well stocked, personal attention would not be necessary. But there was only a paltry collection of a few different kinds of bread, some butter, marmalade and some sliced sausages. The usual pot where one normally sees scrambled eggs in hotels was empty, with a sign claiming that they like to make the egg dishes fresh for the guests. If only someone had been there to fulfill that promise! There was one kind of juice. There was a thermos with coffee, but that was empty the second day. And there was no one I could ask to remedy the situation, although it was a weekday around 8am! They charge an utterly ridiculous amount for this, which put me off quite a bit. And because of this, I couldn't help but note that there was no elevator. The neighbourhood is a bit short on eating options.There was no fridge or iron in the room. The door to the bathroom didn't close cleanly. I was alone, and wouldn't even care about a lot of these things. But a coffee-less, egg-less breakfast costing 18 EUR a day, tends to put you in a weird mood.

The room (superior double room) was very spacious, with a high ceiling. There was a generously large bathroom with a tub area, a shower area, toilet and sink. There was even a TV near the bathtub, although I had no time for that. The bed was large, comfortable enough, and had power sockets nearby to charge the phone or laptop overnight. The room had very decent WiFi (>= 60 MBits). There were a few extra chairs around the room.

It was in general ok, but it was not a 4 stars hotel. The items in the room quite randomly placed. The restaurant was well arranged but the prices were way too high.

The price was too high for the property. Many things were in poor condition in the room. The person whom I spoke with on the phone misled me.

The location was perfect. We were upgraded due to a mistake in the booking which was not our fault. It was very quiet. The artsy whimsical decorations were interesting.

There is no lift so I had to walk upstairs to 3rd floor. The staff are rude and it’s hard to get anyone when you need help. The linen is below standard; the pillows are very very very bad, the bathroom in my room had no door; there is no soap holder in the shower and one has to put soap on the floor.

1. Rooms on the firts floor smells of smoke as the guests smokes right under the window. Closing window was not an option since hotel does not have air conditioner and it were rather warm days. 2. Rooms on thr third floor has extremely poor wifi. To the point that using google was not possible unless you stand right by the door and not move. 3. Shower head fell on my head while I tried to take a shower. The picture fell off the hook at the middle of the night. 4. Did not like the fact that there is no reception at all times. You need to call them in to talk to them. Did not feel very safe as the entrance into the hotel was unattended most of the times. I believe reception people does some other jobs in the hotel hence come to the reception by request. I stayed i this hotel 4 nights, and changed rooms 3 times. I know this review sounds like I am high maintenance, but comon, who would like shower head falling on their head ??!!. The hotel tried to be accommodating, but unfortunately the experience was completely spoiled. I stayed in this hotel 4 years ago and that why I came back this time, big disappointment. Never again.

No internet and it was not fixed during my stay. Showered in cold water in the morning as no hot. Dinner , the meat was hot the vegetables ice cold sent them back!
