Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Free street parking but limited availability. Internet was very poor until we got the password for a different WIFI that was working well. Basic and limited equipment in apartment and kitchen.
Location in walking distance to Hannover center and Hannover Linden.

Better dishes for cooking more plate .and for 10 days I'm ask stuff for more towel and reserve bedship I'm ask stuff for thats they tel me I'm nead to ask management. Simply if they put ekstra towels and bedship or Chek vith as .if we nead .

The location. It was quite difficult to find the right door for entering the building and also there was poor sound isolation.

There was a door that led to the next room and a wardrobe against it to stop the door opening. That didn’t stop the neighbours trying to get in and it was a tad awkward. Rooms aren’t soundproof.
Great room for comfortability. Kitchenette and bathroom were clean. Room well equipped. Location 15min walk to centre.

Location was perfect in terms of tram lines or as we did, electric scooter to explore. However, it is in a slightly rougher area of Hannover so if you’re a lone traveller just be wary of your surroundings. It is however dead centre between (what I would say is) the locations that you’d want to see. One direction is the Royal and Botanical Gardens plus sea life centre, the other is the Lake and football grounds. Plus not far from the main shopping district. But only noting it as a slightly unsafe feeling at night but once inside it’s absolutely fine. No staff at all but easily contacted through Booking.com. No lift and pretty tough stairs if you’re on a higher floor but again little things, don’t let this put you off!!
Such a lovely little space. Perfect kitchenette with everything you could need there. Perfect bathroom. Perfect all over really for a couple for a few nights. We even extended the stay by an extra night and the owner was so helpful in extending our stay and making sure we had the convenience of staying in the same room so we wouldn’t have to move all our stuff. Felt like a little home.

Poor WiFi speed. For instance, it wasn't enough to watch YouTube. Cannot turn off the fan in bath manually.

NO ELEVATOR for 3rd floor apartment was never mentioned. I would require floor 0 or 1 if I booked it again. Price was exorbitant due to EMU fair.
There is a nearby supermarket which makes it easy to fix your own breakfast with the equipment in the apartment. Public transport is close. Staff was friendly and spoke English. Was newly renovated and clean. Well equipped.

Could be quite an effort for some to reach the third floor with a lot of luggage. OK for me but perhaps other travellers should request floor one.
Perfect for my overnight purposes. Very clean, non- contact check-in was easy. Staff responses via the app were helpful.

The process of getting in was quite complicated, we did not have any code we were supposed to get, fortunately, someone let us in and everything was arranged at the reception.

Steep stairs to go up, so if you have a big suitcase is not super convenient. But other than that everything was great.

Hard to get in as there are no actual staff it's all electric, luckily someone left and let us in but if not we would've been a bit stuck on the street

Apartment was rather small, espcially the bathroom. And we were situated on the 4th floor without elevator, which was inconvenient for my 78 year old father.
Modern apartment close to the city centre and public transport, with free parking on the street.
