The key retrieval process and finding the apartment is a bit complicated, as there are several units in the same building and they are not numbered, The host provided good instructions but you had to make sure you downloaded the document that was sent by email with the step by step details that describe the multi-step process of retrieving the key and finding the unit. Street parking in the area is tricky, and the street in front of the unit is quite busy. We managed to find parking close by, but I recommend using a pay for parking app instead of constantly buying parking coupons from the street kiosk.

Excellent location right near the U-Bahn station on lines 3 and 9. Groceries and restaurants close by. The beds and duvets were wonderful! The living space is a bit strange in that the kitchen is also the only living space, so the table is the only place to sit and watch TV or visit. The 2 bedroom unit is on the ground floor and overlooks the courtyard. Really large rooms and things were quiet-- no street noise at all.

The bathroom was dysfunctional. Small shower area separate to bathroom on different level. Toilet cistern needs maintenance. Automatic light goes off at awkward times. We’ve stayed in the smaller apartment before which is a better option

Complicated first time entry

Clean and comfortable unit, nice kitchen and furnishings, great location near Ubahn, very good Italian restaurant next door. Quick responses from owner when needed.

Access instructions were good, but it would have been of further help to say (access large main building door into reception hall with Black Fob, use Green Key to accesses 1st door on the right into 2nd hall, then Silver Key to access Apartment 2 door, on the left). The reception hall doors need to be labelled to help. We arrived tired and tried several doors. We could hear the person upstairs walking around. Likely to be a suspended floor with the apartment conversion. Needs a large, quiet pedestal fan as the weather was so hot. Towels became smelly after 2 days so need boiling, and changing every 2 days please. It would be really useful to have a second long towel rail in the bathroom.

The room was ready very early but then our flight was delayed by 5hours. Quiet room at rear of building. Well appointed and modern, with a great little kitchen area and good size fridge with ice compartment. Very clean and well presented. Bed was large and comfortable. Bathroom was well appointed, but next time a larger 600mm x 900mm shower would have been more comfortable. Plenty of strong wooden hangers and a coat hook on the wall. Plenty of power sockets. Really useful bistro table and chairs for breakfast/drinks.

Very friendly and accommodating host. Room was a good size although basic had everything we needed. Location very good and lots of amenities close by.

Lack of natural light. Although windows provide adequate ventilation there is not enough natural light.No provision for washing clothes. Electric kettle needs descaling. We were there 6 days and only one set of towels and no bed change which is usually every 3 days in summer. Soft floppy pillows - would prefer two pillows each which is more the norm everywhere. Very high tiled ceiling which together with harsh fuorescent lighting gives a feeling of office space.

Excellent location in large building made up of many apartments. Bed and living area in same room so more of a studio than an apartment. Everything on the ground floor. Windows provide adequate ventilation. Toaster provided which was a bonus as they are rarely provided! Overall we were happy with the apartment and host could be called by text at any time. Supermarket on corner but we used Aldi which is five minutes away.

Nothing about the premises or service worth noting. An occasionally noisy neighbour was the only thing noticeable, but I wouldn't be put off by that!

I love the apartment's spaciousness and comfort, in addition to its proximity to places I was visiting. It's very accessible by public transport and the owner was similarly very available when we needed to contact him.

It's not well isolated, if your neighbour is noisy you could hear everything, but it didn't happen. A bit more cleanliness would be appreciated. For the rest, it's a very good solution near the city center.

It's an original "contactless" solution, with no problem. You can find easily the way to all services. Host very helpful and available to give you suggestions about the city, thanks! Comfortable staying in this independent apartment.

It's a little bit noisy at times (neighbors and upstairs neighbors). The person handing us the key was not there at the agreed time. VPNs seem to be blocked on the WiFi, which is a bit annoying for me personally.

The apt doesn't have air conditioning so we opened the windows all night. There was nothing else we didn't like and will stay there again.

Lovely quiet apartment in a delightful residential area. Fairy central with a host of good local restaurants and shops and only a 5 min walk to the U Bahn. Set off from a courtyard, we stayed in the 2 bedroom apt which is fully equipped, well decorated, clean, spacious and with very comfortable beds. Great communications from the owner and picking up the keys could not have been easier.
