Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomReally friendly staff. The suite had all amenities for a self catering stay. Room was located to the back so even though the hotel is next to busy street I did not hear a peep of noise.

BelgiumNot the hotel's fault as I was there at a very busy time and had the last room available, but next time I would book a larger room and/or a room at the back of the hotel. The windows do have excellent sound isolation though.
Warm and friendly welcome, really appreciated the filtered water machine and the included hot beverages downstairs. Everything was perfectly clean and inviting. Will definitely be back.

United KingdomHotel could have warned us about the long term roadworks outside which caused some difficulties in initially reaching the property and parking. Even though we were on the top floor it was still a bit noisy as it’s on a major junction. However we do live in a village which is very quiet
Location; we could walk into the centre in 15 minutes. Staff were friendly and helpful. It was very clean . On our first morning we found there was no hot water. Staff immediately gave us tokens to use in the excellent bakery next door. By the time we had finished breakfast hot water was available

Quick and easy check-in and check-out. Friendly, helpful, cheerful personnel, welcoming attitude, good customer care. Free coffee and tea and tables to sit in the canteen area. No breakfast served, but a bakery is just around the corner. Convenient location, easy to come with a car; walking distance from the central station. There are a number of restaurants in that intersection; shopping area and city center are 5 - 10 min. walk away. Rooms are clean, quiet, equipped with good decent quality furniture. Stayed 2 times in this hotel with very positive experience.

GermanyThe location of the hotel is quite ideal, both for those who enjoy the bustle of Aachen's city life (you can take a stroll from the hotel to the heart of the city, through its many narrow alleys and cobblestone streets, in about 15 minutes, or hop on a bus to whatever destination in Aachen you please) and for those who prefer the more quite surroundings of the Stadtpark (just around the corner of the hotel) or the Lousberg (highly recommended for its panoramic views). What's more: the personnel is very friendly, helpful and in good spirits, which is always indicative of a proper hotel. The hotel in its entirety is very clean and well kept; something you'll immediately notice upon arrival. This hotel provides the ideal base for planning your excursions both in and around Aachen, and I'll happily recommend it to anyone who plans on visiting one of Germany's oldest and most historic cities.

FranceIt's a shame that this place doesn't offer breakfast but luckily there is a bakery directly next to it.
The staff was super friendly and the hotel was very clean and conveniently located. The free drinks machines and available dining room were a nice touch.

GermanyAll was fine. For future travelers: 1) Parking is about 300 m away in a public garage (“Eurogress”), at EUR 12 per night. 2) Breakfast not provided by hotel, but a bakery is next door and rolls can be eaten in the lobby seating area with coffee and tea from the hotel bar. So it all worked out well.
Cozy, clean and comfortable hotel. Very good location, just a few steps from the main sights and shopping area. Beds firm. Very friendly staff. a good choice!
