Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The shower was huge and there was counter space. The beds were comfy and the pillows were nice. The lobby had free snacks and water to fill water bottles, which was very convenient.

Room had low ceilings (top floor) and we were at risk of bumping our heads frequently. Nightlife in the area was very active until 3-4AM although the room itself was not too noisy.
Comfortable room and very comfortable bed, great bathroom, and very good location. Great value for the price.

It’s a discount reservation on Booking. The room is next to the alley. It’s noisy, car or chatting at night.
The bed, pillows and comforter are soft and comfortable.

I had reserved 3 rooms for 6 adults and 1 child. My husband and I got the largest room, as an upgrade, since I had made the reservations. I was surprised that my son and wife and daughter got a smaller room. I thought all the rooms were the same size. My son was fine with where they were (they had a balcony), and made do with the 1 bed for all 3 of them.
The staff at the front desk was absolutely wonderful! Kanthi, who we had the most interaction with, was so very helpful and sweet. Always a smile on her beautiful face, and just a joy to have greet us.

The room was quite cramped. No room to provide a kettle! Although situated on a side street, it was quite noisy at night - football supporters!
Room had character, and well thought out within a small space Excellently located a short walk from Hauptbahnhof, and within easy walk of city centre Liked availability of water and fruit (even if it was just an apple)

The bathroom in the room is really weird with one sliding door between the shower and the toilet. The whole situation with the doors could be at least a bit more comfortable if there was a towel hanger right next to the shower. So one wouldn’t need to walk out in to room to grab a towel. Also there is only one light switch which turns on and off all the lights. Luckily we were here in summer, so plenty of natural light. But in winter, the room must be very dark with only a few lamps.
Good location, reasonable breakfast. Nice interiors.

There were no ceiling lights on our side of the room, just reading lights and some strip lighting behind the bedhead (half the strip wasn't working), plus the light from the shower room. This made it a bit difficult to see what we were doing when packing our luggage for our flight. Also we couldn't understand why there is a big clear glass pane between our bedroom and shower room. To save on lights maybe? It made it a bit awkward when our kids were having showers - we had to go sit in their room when they showered to give them privacy. My son also thought the glass pane was a doorway and walked straight into it, hitting his face on the glass - no damage done, but he had a little cry from the shock.
The room was clean, modern, a good size, and fairly comfortable. The beds and bedding were great. I liked the decor. Staff were friendly and helpful. Check-in and check-out were very easy. The location was very handy to the U-bahnhof and city centre pedestrian area. There are nice restaurants on the same street too. When comparing the quality of the room and location, the price seems good. Would stay here again.

The shower would flood the area with the toilet.
They maximized the space well and I liked the egg chair in my room. The lobby was a good spot to hangout after checkout too.
