The hotel is in a great location being only 15 minutes walk to the town centre and major sites an right opposite the train station,the hotel and my room was clean and comfortable,my room had a toilet and shower and the hotel served a very good continental breakfast with plenty of choice and the staff were friendly

Unusual room configuration. Floor was stepped and there was a large pillar at the bottom of bed. Definite trip hazard.

Comfortable, quiet room. Good breakfast, not a large selection, but very good quality. Helpful friendly staff Near main railway station, bus and tram stops.

The staff was extreme friendly and helpful. The breakfast was a normal German breakfast and plentiful. The rooms had a good size and were clean. The location was very close to the train station and old town but at the same time quiet. I would definitively stay here again.

Street side rooms noisy in the evening. Regulating the water temperature for the shower was a challenge as knobs we outside the cabin

So the hotel is in a building where there is one elevator and stairs. I lived on the 4th floor so I preferred the stairs. I was cold in the room probably because of the air conditioning, which I tried to set up for a while but I didn't succeed, it happened to be very warm and nice, so it wasn't essential. The ventilation from the shower sometimes gives off an unpleasant smell, but that is to be expected.

I have to say that breakfast was really good. Location is close to s-bahn and in acceptable distance most of required shops, pubs etc. Room was clean and people on reception very helpful and supportive.

Great location, a few minutes walk from Mainz HBF Station, 10 mins walk to the beautiful buildings in the old town centre, supermarkets within 2 minutes walk. Comfortable room and delicious breakfast with lots of choices.

Every member of staff were so pleasant and helpful. Good size room in older but very clean hotel directly across from the train station. Breakfast had great choice and served from 6:30 weekday or 7am weekend. About 15 min walk into old town centre of city. Would recommend.

The Hotel was near the train station, and also within walking distance of the historic sites in Mainz. The room was small but very functional. We would definitely stay here again.

The staff at the centrally located Hotel Königshof were very friendly, my room was spotlessly clean with a comfortable bed, and the breakfast buffet was fresh with lots of options. I also appreciated the midday checkout as a tired traveller. I’d definitely stay here again!

The one little thing was that my room looked out onto neighboring apartments and I felt like I was invading their privacy to some extent when they were on their little balcony. But that was a very minor issue!

Loved the location across from the train station. Breakfast was very good and served in a lovely room. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. My room at the back was clean and comfortable. and quiet, as per my quiet room request.

Very dated, desperately needs modernisation, windows in our room opened onto a communal roof space which was very tatty looking, parking is poor, fortunately we were able to park right outside the doors with our motorcycles but the restaurant next door complained about it so we referred them to the hotel staff who cleared up the issue.
