All went well, the breakfast was lovely, the view was great, the room was comfy, staff were friendly and, in addition, we had our evening meal at the hotel restaurant and it was very nice, especially the wonderful vegetarian dish they had on the menu (not boring, but delicious, and different from the usual thoughtless vegetarian dishes many places come up with). We were happy guests. We came by bicycles and there even was a safe place to leave them overnight.

Check in time was very late, and because it is full automated, there is nowhere you can leave your bags if you arrive early.

Some may found the bathroom rather small. Think something that could find its way in a camper van.

The self-checkin machine is (surprisingly) working well. No issue except trying to edit the wrong country of origin (didn’t let us correct the wrong entry). Great view of the Rhine from our room balcony.

You might need to take a few stairs up but we only had carry-on luggage so that was not an issue, but can imagine it is difficult for anyone who brought a large suitcase with them.

Everytime we would walk the wood floor would make noises same thing for the room next to us and over us since we could hear it when people walked

- But guests have to know that it could be problematic by warm weather as the rooms have no air-conditioning. - We also thing the overall offer is a little expensive for what we get (small bedroom, no fridge... )

We were happy with our choice : - very nice situation facing the Rhine. - the room has a balcony with armchairs. - very warm welcome from all the staff. - we had a good diner on the terrace which is idyllic by nice weather.

Our room did not look over the river as I was hoping. Dinner was a disappointment as my main dish was tough, I had to get up to pour our wine from the ice bucket, and we were never asked if we wanted dessert, which we did want.

A great location on the Promenade. We were able to lock our bikes in a garage down the road.

The soap pump pack wasn't working and the sliding shower doors weren't working properly either.

Lovely view on the rhine, good location. Breakfast was delicious, (a little pricy but standard for the area). Kitchen staff were really lovely. Do prefer a reception on entry but we'll managed for easy access.

location was excellent with a balcony overlooking the river. not all rooms have the view and I’d have been disappointed to have one without. the restaurant was lovely, something I hadn’t picked up on till we got there, and breakfast was excellent.

Good location with room overlooking Rhine River. Small balcony was great for spending time watching barges and other watercraft. Room had all we needed and was very clean. No bicycle storage option, carried our bicycles to our room for overnight.

Our room was overlooking a ventilation shaft of a noisy Chinese restaurant. The hallway was echoey so we had noise from other guests talking and closing doors. It was closed on Wednesdays so we had to let ourselves in via a key box at a fairly scruffy back door entrance .

It was close to the river , and breakfast was nice , over looking the Rhein. Staff were lovely and room , although small, was clean. Handy secure garage for bicycles .

The single room was a little small but with such a terrific view over the river, the size of the room didn't matter.

I stayed at Hotel Rheinpromenade8 for one night during my 18-day cycle ride along the Rhine with just 2 days to go before I reached Amsterdam. The hotel is exquisitely located overlooking the Rhine and I could see barges moving up and down the river from my room. I ate lunch on the verandah and also breakfast the next day. The food was good but not exceptional. The staff were attentive but a little rushed. The inside entrance to the hotel is reached through the dining room which is somewhat odd and makeshift. But the hotel had a lot of character and was filled with guests enjoying the view of¡ver the river. The storage for my bike was very convenient in a garage a few minutes walk from the hotel. And it's a locked facility so is secure...this is not always the case I've found. You get a key the following morning to retrieve your bike. My room was perfectly adequate with a wonderful view over the river and I had a good night's sleep there. I'd stay again at Hotel Rheinpromenade8 if I was cycling on anther trip.

The hotel room was a bit cold I could not find a heating system. Everything else was perfect

Excellent breakfast - with fresh cooked scrambled eggs, little breads, yogurt, granola and fruits, selection of hams and cheese and jams too... well worth it! The lunch/dinner menu is great too - unfortunately the restaurant was closed for holidays this time.

The heating was turned down because of the war, but it was really way too cold to handle. Also a little noisy for people who don't want to hear other guests. It was no problem for me.
