I was very disappointed with this accommodation. Upon arrival, we were charged an extra 10€ per person for towels, which was not mentioned in the original price. Otherwise, I would not have chosen this place. The towels provided were not suitable, the bed sheets were not clean, and the cleaning supplies (toilet paper, shampoo, dish soap, etc.) were already used and in very small amounts. There was also no stove, so cooking was not possible. Overall, for this price there are hundreds of much better options with more facilities. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Bed wasn't very comfortable, the neighborhood was not welcoming at all, very difficult to park the car, we found bits of food in our room. You have to pay extra to get the blankets and linen. I wouldn't recommend for more than one night.

Upon arrival, we found that there was no key in the key box, which I find very unprofessional, especially considering that the host knew we would be checking in on a specific date(I assume this is how one does the business!). After contacting the host, we were given two options: either a refund or an alternative room located a 15-minute walk from the originally booked room. The alternative room was not super clean or nice but might be acceptable for the price. However, the room did not fulfill all the services mentioned in the description. There was no sponge to clean dishes, and no soap in the toilet/bathroom. The mat outside the shower area was soaking wet, and there was mold on the shower walls. Additionally, there was no information about WiFi inside the room, and even after contacting the owner, we did not receive any response regarding this issue. Overall, the experience was disappointing and did not meet our expectations based on the listing description.

Wi-Fi not working. Host advised that Wi-Fi code was on cupboard door out in the hallway next to another apartment. Very weak signal in my apartment, constantly dropping out and completely unusable. There was a Wi-Fi repeater in the apartment, which was not set up correctly (still on default settings and no Internet connection), neither was the network switch next to it usable (I am IT consultant) so no Internet access available from the apartment. I suspect the host knew this and gave me the code for the next door apartment in the hope it might work, but it didn't. I messaged the host about this, and suggested that with my IT expertise I might be able to help them get it working, but the host did not do me the courtesy of a reply. The "bathroom" was separate to the shower cubicle, and consisted just of toilet and tiny sink, with a cold water tap only. Hot water was available only in the kitchen area or in the shower. The only mirror was over the tiny sink in the bathroom, where there is no hot water. So there was no sensible place to shave. Please, in a developed city in modern times, a bathroom with no hot water? The main window in the apartment, next to the bed, had no curtains or blind, so as well as no privacy, in June the light pours in early morning from 4am making it impossible to sleep. These are all things the host should be able to fix. During this trip, I have travelled much in Eastern Europe, and the accommodation standards were consistently much higher than I found in Germany.

Compact apartment, walking distance from Colgone Mülheim station. (Note that this is not central station, but that is a short S-Bahn ride away). Good comms from host for checkin, several codes and keysafe to get access to building, apartment floor and then apartment itself. Comfortable single bed that looks like it also pulls out to make a double. Good functional shower, but be careful water temperature is safe before stepping under. Clean apartment that did the job for an overnight stay whilst travelling.

The beds were not all made up for us when we arrived so we had to hunt through drawers and cupboards to find suitable bedding.

It is on the third floor and there is no lift. The wifi was not working. The shower and washroom was very small.

We also struggled a little trying to figure out how to warm the shower, and got locked out of the top floor (there is a lock in between the entryway lock and the room itself). Just really would have been nice to have instructions for the water system - been living in Europe for a couple years, traveled a lot, had not seen this system before - and for the door automatically locking, so that I did not have to reach out to the host and wait for further instructions. Additionally I'm sensitive to artificial smells, so whatever was used as a room scent made me a little nauseous - I think it was to help with the smell from the heating system. I was offered a lower price if I rated this well and wanted to book again...maybe this overall rating would be lower without that incentive, or maybe our experience was an outlier. Bring your own soap!

Nothing. I didn't even get to the hotel. The hotel owner asked me illegally for extra money for towels and sheets with all his impudence and wouldn't cancel and refund my money. I had to go to another hotel and it will cost more. I've been trying to get my money back for two months now and I haven't received it yet, which is also a scandal in itself. The lawsuit is on the way.

I paid all the money for the hostel for 4 nights (3-7 August), and the money was debited from the card. Property confirmed my booking. After 01 August, my cancellation was worth all the money I paid. On 02 August, I wrote to the property to get information about keys, and the property answered me that I should pay extra money or cancel my booking. They argued to me that I paid for a hotel with the name "Weekly Rate". But I had already paid for the hotel, and there was no indication anywhere on my interface that I had to pay extra or cancel. It is completely unclear why the hotel owner confirmed my reservation then or did not tell me in advance that I had to pay extra or cancel, but said so exactly when cancellation was impossible!? We spoke on the phone, and when I tried to find out everything, the person just hung up. He spoke to me rudely and in raised tones. I was shocked, and I feel very unsafe for my family. I wrote to the booking service and I didn't get any answer. In this impossible situation, I should book a new hotel. Already 1 week I haven't gotten an answer from Booking and I don't know if my money will be back??? To say that I am unhappy is to say nothing. I feel as if a bunch of dirt was poured on me, and I was also told that I have to pay for it.
