The bed and room sizes were a little small - guess it can’t be helped.

The food in the restaurant wasn’t so good, I tried the pasta with truffle one evening and it wasn’t as I expected.

The room was perfect, the bed was more than comfortable and the personnel was helpful and nice, they even upgraded my room to a superior one. The hotel is very close to the main attractions.

Nothing comes to mind. The only thing would be a desire for more english language channels on the TV but that is a minor observation. We would certainly recommend this hotel and enjoyed our time there.

The room was beautiful, we were lucky to have a view of the front of the building and it's majestic statues. A very comfortable bed, and spacious room. We particularly liked the bathroom, the shower was exceptional. The bathtub was operated by a button rather than taps which meant the water temperature took a while to control but once we got the hang of it it was superb. Housekeeping each day was well done and the staff in the hotel were pleasant and professional. The hotel is in a great location and there is a relaxed atmosphere in the lobby and bar. Breakfast, while on the more expensive side. was generous and very enjoyable.

The location is great! You can just walk to the famous places including the shopping area. By the way, I like the coffee fellows cross the street. The staff are all very nice and helpful, they always come to clean the room very fast. The hotel has an old history but inside it looks fresh and new. They maintain it very well. The welcome plate on the table gave us a sweet surprise. They provide Acqua di Parma series bathroom set. One more thing, wifi speed is super fast!

We were in this property a few years ago. The room that we got back then was a really new, modern great room but still with the charming old style hotel feeling. This time the room was not that great. I asked at the reception about the difference. The reception said that we booked an inferior room class this time and we can upgrade if we paid some more. As we were already in the room and booked only for one night, did´t bother to change... In short, the lower class rooms are specious, comfortable, overall fine but nothing impressive. They gave us a complimentary upgrade at the check in which I appreciate but this means that there are even lower room classes than the one we were not that impressed with.

Hotel building is a very old, impressive building. The reception and lounge areas are sparkling. The hotel cafe provides a perfect calm ambience with live piano. Wow to the breakfast, lovely staff, very nice SPA that hotel guests can use without booking additional treatment. We received also a little complimentary birthday cake to the room as that was the occasion why we booked the room. The room service is also perfect. We got a complimentary upgrade at the check in.

If I had to nitpick, elevators are small (we had a trolley with us for my toddler). Reception is kind of hidden away.

Breakfast was good and tasty. Personal was friendly and helpful. Room was very spacious and beds were comfortable. Location was top, everything was nearby and easy to access.

The location was perfect, a main aim was the winter markets and they were within an easy walking distance as was shopping and restaurants.

The hotel is bigger than it looks and if they give you a room at the end of the corridors, you really have to walk a long way. This could be a problem if you have issues with walking, or forget something back in the room.

Rooms are comfy and clean. Breakfast is nice. It was a nice stay overall. The lady at the Concierge is phenomenally good at her job. I use the concierge everywhere I go, and she is just better than anyone else.

The property needs to sort its heating - it was too hot in the room during their winter set up and couldn't be controlled from the room strangely! I asked abd somone came to check as well but in the end, they asked me to keep the window open which was not a solution!

Amazing property with a grand building that you dont usually see around much. The breakfast was truly special too.

The bath and shower are a modern touchscreen system that didn’t work quite well.
