The balcony view, i specifically asked for a mountain view and paid extra at the time of booking. We were advised that maybe the room shown would not be exact and i agreed as long as it had a good view from the balcony, the view was very limited and we sat looking at the main building of Theresenhof, we were put in the annexe, so were were disappointed this time; i would have preferred the cheaper option with the view right across Reit im Winkl and the mountains beyond.

The location of this property is perfect, right in the middle of the pretty little town Reit im Winkl. The breakfast was adequate, although it did not have a self serve, so anything extra like eggs, fruit, butter, rolls you had to keep asking for. The rooms were lovely, big and clean although we were disappointed with the location of the balcony which i had specifically asked for a mountain view and paid extra at the time of booking; we had stayed at this property previously and the view from the balcony was perfect. Parking brilliant, right next to the hotel.

Everything was very pleasing

Family run hotel with friendly staff. Pleasant room with comfy bed, couch, dining table and seating area, plus small balcony with a view Large, newly renovated bathroom. Good breakfast and restaurant for traditional Bavarian meals, reasonably priced. Centrally located and easy to walk around the small town, parking spaces provided by the hotel.

we understand that sometimes in older homes, there are quirky things to deal with, so this isn't meant to be negative, just the way it was. There are a lot of stairs if you have mobility issues or heavy suitcases. Our room didn't have a shower, just a deep tub with a shower wand, which made for an interesting shower, but it worked. We didn't notice when we booked that the home prefers payment with cash rather than a card. It is a small business that gets hit with 5% card fees which can be difficult for them, so it is understand. It was a fun place to stay.

The hotel is in a beautiful small town that is a hidden gem. The restaurant was excellent. Our evening meal there was the best we had on our 2 week trip. Breakfast was great too. Our room was large and clean. The proprietors were very nice. There was free parking.

The location of the hotel was excellent, close to the hiking tracks but still in the centre of the village. It was clean, comfortable and with amazing views ro the mountains. The host of the hotel was the most wonderful lady, really helpful, friendly and welcoming.

Early evening closure of restaurants, rooms should preferably have a bath tub....the location has a one hour drive from major attraction hubs, hence restaurants in summer should cater for such traveling

Very small portions for breakfast. We only stayed for one night, in the morning, for some reason we were separated from the "longer staying" guests and had to eat breakfast in a separate room alone, even though there were free tables in the main restaurant room.
