Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

BelgiumUnfortunately, as announced in their website, the airco didn’t work, which made sleeping difficult as there was a heatwave in the region during our stay.

United KingdomIt was very warm at night but it wasnt a big problem for us. I could have used a clothes iron in the room - this may have been available on request but I didnt check that.
Good sized room and bathroom with plenty of light looking out onto greenery. Comfortable and clean. Close to the ancient city of Trier - including Roman archaeology and museum which we visited (worth looking at multiple site ticket). Very friendly bar lady chatted with us and gave us information about local attractions. Very pleasant atmosphere in the reception area and availability of refillable water bottles and water a great idea. Easy to cycle from the hotel to the city or along the Mosel river on excellent cycle paths. Many options to eat or drink. Really enjoyed our stay here.

RomaniaAdditional services provided are kept at a minimum. Drinking water is provided at the reception which is a good thing, it worked out very well. On the other hand the room is not equipped with a kettle and heated water can't be provided by the hotel unless you buy tea. I found this very frustrating for a 4 * hotel. Even if it's not mandatory to provide a kettle, it is a clear feeling that everything is kept at minimum. We tried to turn on the AC, but the cold air was not functioning. We stayed with the window open and it was fine.
The accommodation is connected to the venue where I have attended a conference and this made the location perfect. We walked to the city center and to the vineyards close by. Parking is available and the location is very quiet. Rooms were very clean and daily cleaning was well done.

BelgiumOur room(1/F) is directly above the restaurant terrace facing the front, breakfast chatting stopped us opening the doors! Minimum 15 minutes walk to reach the edge of old town center, not too ideal after your annual sales shopping with overloaded "cargos" ! Hotel parking sign is not at entrance as one drive in - only on the floor midway?! The "CAMEL STATION"(self help Water Dispenser) in the lobby provides lovely chilled natural/sparkling water. Chinese sign reads: No Hot Water"! (No hot tea/coffee, NO electric kettle in room, good we brought one!). But it failed to provide a added bucket for excessive water in your huge glass container/overflown jet hose which come furiously and takes time to STOP!!! First trial, I tried to clear a bit of water from mine, but immediately being told: - 1. Keep pressing(during) while you're bending your head trying to find the outlet, 2. You'd have cleared yours in the bar beforehand (overheard across with a stern long face!) They'd have pasted the Notice/Instructions boldly and clearly, English is very fine Madam!
Early check in to find a parking space, easy access to hotel from car park. Spacious room with seating area. Plenty of lightings for bedtime reading.

BelgiumOnly 4 bikes available. Limited parking spaces in the garage, which were not reservable. Best to arrive early and try to get a space. Narrow parking spaces. Didn't feel breakfast was worth the price - found it better to go to town and eat there.
Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Parking garage accessible by elevator from the hotel very practical. A few bikes were available for guests, free of charge. Otherwise, it was an easy 10-minute walk the historic city center.
