The location and the views from the hotel and the outdoor restaurant are beautiful. The room was clean and spacious the only slight disappointment was that I thought I had paid for a room with a balcony in the belief there was a lake view but I do not think any of the rooms had a lake view so it was my mistake. The spa area and the 2 pools are great and I was particularly impressed that the outdoor pool was heated. There is a good sunbathing area. Friendly staff especially in the bar and restaurant and breakfasts were good. Plenty of parking on site. Loved the location and the Old Town of Fussen.

The hotel does not have signs in English and could be more equipped for an international guest. At checkout we had to pay city tax for a city pass we were never told about and I am still wondering what it included. The hotel description mentions an outdoor Hot tube, in reality the degrees of the indoor pool is 29 Celsius and the outdoor 30 Celsius which is too cold for the end of November

Would have liked more dinner entree options in the restaurant, and though the pool is heated a hot tub would have been very nice.

Our stay was excellent. We would love to give feedback to help the hotel get better. It was hard to understand what lake activities were going ahead, e.g, paddleboarding yoga and watersports. It would be great for the hotel to partner with someone on the lake to give easy access to prices and timetables. The spa area was nice. However, missing a hot tub (jacuzzi), plunge pool. A plunge pool would have been welcomed on hot days! More sauna classes / sessions would be a good addition. Or avaliable oils for the saunas to add to relaxation. Sometimes, it was hard to understand what languages the staff spoke. It would be great to put flags either on their name tags or uniform to help us understand what key languages they speak. For example, although we are English, we can speak Italian and Spanish and a little German. Therefore if someone didn't know English we would know which way to communicate with them. It would be great to have a kettle in the room with a selection of teas/ coffee.

The hotel is clean, presentable, and comfy. The staff speak a lot of different languages, including English. Menus are also available in English. The wine list is extensive and has wines from all around Europe. The staff also knew the wine list very well and could advise which wines would suit our pallet. The hotel has red and white wine glasses, and we're used correctly. The spa area was lovely. The time of year we travelled, the spa areas weren't busy. The breakfast and salad buffet was full of a mixture of foods to suit all. Evening meals were plentiful and tasty! A fantastic selection of cheese! The pools were clean and very well maintained. The staff service was outstanding. They were very helpful and always made us feel welcome. Evening meal service was done well and made us feel looked after. The location was easy walking distance for fussen and the e bike rental made it easy for us to travel around the lake, free parking for our hire car was fabulous. The free bus passes were an added bonus, and we got some vouchers to help with the cost of activities. The beds were a little soft for us, and we were given a firm mattress topper. I think it is absolutely amazing that a hotel has mattress toppers for people to help them sleep better. Room service cleaning was emaculate. 1 day, we chose the green option and got a small beer, wine, or soft drink each as a thank you. The glass straws are an amazing innovation. Everyone should have them. We loved our stay and really enjoyed the local sights. Thank you.

Lots of biting flies and mosquitos around the hotel. We tried several times to book massages online for all of us but their system was broken.

The hotel staff was very nice! Free parking was easy. The spa and spa employees were great. Breakfasts were lavish and wonderful. The two massages our party had were wonderful. Delicious cocktails at the bar! This property has screens on the windows—a big plus.

I did not like carpet in the room. It made the room seem dated and also dingy. I would suggest that they take all the carpet out.

The breakfast room was very nice, and the food quality was very nice with a good assortment. The Spa area was very nice. We did not use it, but we did go see it.

Only thing I would say is our bed was noticeably two single mattresses put together so it could have been more comfortable to have just one double bed mattress.

Soundproofing in room could have been a bit better. The room got rather warm and stuffy at night.

Staff were fantastic, very friendly, extremely welcoming and very helpful. Nice room with very comfortable beds and bedding. Wonderful location, lots of places to see within a 10 to 15 minute drive. Close to town of Fussen which is close enough to walk to. Fantastic swimming pools and spa facilities. Being able to swim outside and admire the views was lovely. We had a very enjoyable stay. Located about 15-20 minute walk out of town, so you will need to factor this in. Check in and check out times mean that you will want to spend more than one night here to make the most of it.

The restaurant in the evening was confusing. Only option a 39 euro set meal with 4 courses on German menu. English version had individual course prices but still charged set meal.

There really is very very little that we didn't like, but the only thing that would have been helpful is some English written guidance, in the room and in the sauna. We were very conscious that there is certain sauna etiquette and we didn't want to cause any offence. However, Google Translate was our friend and we managed anyway, so it didn't impact our stay.

This hotel is pristine clean, the facilities wonderful, and a lovely location right on the side of the lake. However, what makes the hotel even more wonderful is the staff; they were incredibly friendly and accommodating, delivering an excellent customer service throughout our stay. I think this is more appreciated as we were English and spoke hardly any German, and it was a predominantly German hotel (as we expected). This was the first stop on our Honeymoon, and they were wonderful on upgrading our room so that it had views of both the mountains and the lake, adding rose petals on the bed, they decorated the table formally for our first dinner, and as a farewell they gave us a bottle of sparkling wine. I particular want to identify two members of staff who were particularly lovely ; Lara who was on reception and greeted us to the hotel was very nice and made us feel very welcome. And Sören, who we believe was the restaurant manager, and who looked after us on both evening meals, and whose customer service was outstanding, ensuring we were comfortable the entire time.

Everything was fantastic. The breakfast and dinner were wonderful. I really enjoyed the spa pools and services. We hiked between rain showers and enjoyed the comfort of our room. We plan to return with our family and spend longer on our next visit.

All the staff were super friendly and helpful even though not all of them speak English. Both the dinner and the breakfast that we had were delicious. The breakfast was buffet style and there were a wide variety of options! Plus, the view from the hotel was stunning. The room was spacious and clean. I love the little gift that the hotel left us (a reusable glass straw).

A little pricey for the room type but the hotel facilities and restaurant made up for it.

For most part the staff. We initially had an awkward check in experience with a stand offish receptionist, but it ended up being because of the language barrier as we are from Australia and don’t speak German. Once that was out of the way, Lara from reception brightened up our mornings with her friendly and personable customer service. Also Arthur from service in the restaurant was a pleasure to deal with and ensured we had everything needed during our lunch and dinner. Thank you again team. The spa and pool facilities were also great.
