I saw the review about the restaurant is good for dinner, then I had high expectation… but the taste is not what I like. And the pork nuckle needs 45 mins to cook, as we arrive late in the night, the kitchen closes at 9 pm .

Excellent Hotel, great breakfast with very pleasant service: all you need for a day in Cochem and the nearby region. Free parking nearby in walking distance. Perfect stay for solo travellers and families

Situated a short distance from the Promenade and many of Cochem's sights, this family run hotel is a great base for exploring Cochem and the Mosel. We received a warm welcome from our hosts, who were really friendly and helpful. Our room was clean, warm and also quiet as it did not overlook the road. The hotel also has a restaurant, serving great traditional food, which is very popular, so booking is recommended if you would like to eat there. Breakfast was really excellent, with an array of delicious options on the buffet and a basket with different types of bread waiting for you on your table. There is no parking for cars, though there is a multi-story car park opposite the hotel. However, motorbikes and bicycles may be parked in the hotel's garage by arrangement, for a small, daily charge.

A great, cozy family-owned pension very close to the center of town and close to the train station ( about 10 min walk). The owners are kind and the breakfast is hearty. Make sure to have a meal there at the restaurant for dinner. The atnpdipger is nice and the food is delicious. It is suggested to make a reservation since it’s a popular place for dinner or go super early.

WARNING: they don't take foreign payment cards (only German EC cards) !!! it does call this out in the details on booking.com but I would never think to check this for a country like Germany - they have an ATM next door but it's one of those you have to pay 4 euros for the privilege of using. Would just be good if this could be made clearer somehow (or the confirmation email from the hotel highlighting this more clearly).

Room was very modern and clean.. No air-con but windows opened and a decent fan was provided. Breakfast room was laid out for the guests that were staying with separate bread baskets and spreads which was a nice personal touch. About 12mins walk from train station. I had one meal there, standard German fare, and it was a decent service and home cooked. Staff coped well with customers arriving who hadn't booked.

Everything was perfect.

My parents were main guests and they are so glad of their stay that it's even hard to describe. They spent few days there and tried also food in hotel restaurant. They loved everything. Owners and staff were very kind too. Strongly recommend to choose this place for your stay. You won't regret it.
