Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

HungaryRoom was a little bit small for 4 person but it is ok. Breakfast room (lobby) was crowded between 9-10. Also the neighborhood is pretty noisy by night ,but thats because of the central location.
Very good location, close to metro, Tivoli and Radhaus. Lobby was very stylish, breakfast delicous. Free cofee, filteted water and happy hour is a plus star. Motivation to use the staircase instead of the small elevator was also a big geg. :) I truelly love the atmosphere of the hotel.

SloveniaAn exceptionally friendly hotel. The hotel has an incredibly kind and trusting attitude toward its guests. At breakfast, no one checks whether the guest has paid. There is no bartender at the bar — guests serve themselves and simply write down what they’ve taken on a piece of paper. On the staircase, there’s a large box of cookies on every floor, and guests are free to take as many as they like. This kind of approach makes guests feel truly great.

CanadaNothing really. There is an option of securing a larger room for a higher room rate.
We were two couples travelling together and each spent 4 nights in a standard size room. The hotel was only a short walk away from the central train station. I requested and received detailed instructions how to find the hotel. Fortunately, our rooms were ready when we arrived around noon, which was appreciated after an overnight flight from Canada. After dropping off our bags and freshening up a bit, we hit the street to explore, only returning in time to enjoy a free glass of wine at Happy hour. Happy hour is held every day from 5 – 6pm and gives one the opportunity to not only enjoy a free glass of wine, but to also meet other guests. As mentioned by other posts, rooms are on the small size, but well appointed. Think of a cruise cabin size. Even though well located on a busy corner, our sleeps were tranquil. Our room had a safe, kettle and mini fridge. We took the option of participating in their green program, which meant that our room was not serviced each day. We received in return a 100 kr voucher to buy drinks over the road at the Absalon Hotel (their sister hotel). One voucher per room per day. Breakfasts were plentiful, and there is an honour bar along with a free coffee bar adjacent to the bar. Lighting in the room was good and the black out curtains were welcomed given the long days. I found the hotel well located to visit all the major sites in Copenhagen as well as to catch trains to the outlying sites. There is a 7-eleven just down the street, near the train station, where we went to stock up on beverages. Overall, our stay was pleasant and more than met our expectation. I would recommend the Andersen.

Sri LankaThe lift didn't work while we were checking out. Fortunately I had only 1 floor to carry my luggage.
The room was nice and large for the European standard. The bed & pillows were comfortable allowing for a good nights sleep. The curtains were OK and the extended summer sun didn't really bother us. Breakfast was pretty much the standard as in most hotels of this class. The location was reasonably close to the Central Railway station (short walk). Some front office staff were really good across the 3 days where they offered to make reservations at restaurants or buy tickets at special discount rates for the hotel. Unfortunately it was told to us only on the 2nd day.

United KingdomRoom was quite small so was difficult to access the wardrobe and my husband kept hitting his head on the shelf above the fridge and the lights above the tables in the bar area downstairs. There was also a step into the bathroom that we both kept tripping on. None of it spoilt the stay but it was just annoying. Also it has a sex shop nearby and a prostitute works from the corner outside which may put some people off, however it didn’t bother us and we felt safe in the area.
Great location to get around the city. Plenty of choice for breakfast. Free Tea, coffee and water always available. Free glass of wine from 5-6. Treats if you take the stairs and if you refuse room being made up. All in all a great vacation.
