The beach was beautiful, the room layout, the animals and how everyone respected them. The Hispaniola buffet was good, the ice cream truck, the relaxing pool was very good and also the Pub 24/7 The live bands were very good

BrazilNoisy, especially the cleaning people but also the ever ongoing traffic on the internal roads. The apartments were not really clear and there was absolutely no consistency between days on when and what got cleaned, it felt they just did something (lack of good management and structure). Also annoying that every single day (the whole day) they kept the dirty cleaning car next to our entrance of the apartment. Lastly the inconsistency between the drinks in all the bars. Nothing was ever the same.

CroatiaRoom service from the side of making it up. Often, we got all towels like at 17hrs which is quite late. Sometimes we had towel for face, another day no. Same thing with shampoo. E.g. on our second week of stay, we suddenly got hand shampoo which was quite weird. :) Also, rooms are not vacuumed. Minibar was not working as it should. Issue reported but after 'fixing' everything was the same so expect to have bottle of water, two cans of beer, two coca cola and two sprite to be cold only after 24+ hours. Room had quite weird smells like chlorine, source as we understood was water pipes from bathroom. Sometimes, in the restaurant, if you order some drinks it can also have taste on chlorine, didn't drink those drinks. On the side of facilities, beach. Sellers on the beach are very, very, very boring and assertive. You can expect like 30+ asking if you want to buy cigars, have massage or similar stuff. Really annoying stuff that from my perspective, breaks the calmness of the rest and experience of the beach.
In general, everything was fine and actually very good. Beach was great. Rooms are big and for sure enough space for everything. All meals were great, variation of them exists but usually 70°% of meals are the same. Since we are not very demanding guests, expect from elementary stuff, everything was suitable. Wilderness inside of the resort was extraordinary, peacocks, geese, ducks and the rest of the 'wild company' for us, gave additional experience. Also, resort is fully clean and maintained. We stayed for 3 weeks.

United States of AmericaSo, I am not a buffet person. I get nauseated by all the food and people hovering around. Although the breakfast buffet was pretty good (for a buffet), the lunch buffet was stressful. We got snacks at the food truck and took them to the beach. There are tiny mosquitoes, no screens on the sliders. So bring bug spray or pay an exorbitant amount at the shop. Sunscreen is $40, a bag of chips $12 (and so on). Nothing was a big problem really.
This place was excellent for the money I paid. The beach is practically perfect. The sea... Perfect. The pool is kind of a scene, particularly in the later afternoon. Lots of partying. But there are so many places to hang out if you want quiet. I think there was a whole other pool. The food was good. Not amazing but very good. There are lots of choices. Our room was large and very pleasant. Sort of modern. Lovely bathroom. The restaurants were all very enjoyable. The staff were lovely. The grounds are kept beautifully. The coffee shop is also a pleasant surprise. It's a really massive resort and we walked a ton which we liked, but there's also a shuttle. Lots of birds and a few kitties. We enjoyed them! Peacocks.sound like dying children but you get used to it. Lol

I personally would not recommend this resort because it’s impossible to be comfortable in a warm room. Huge language barrier with at least 80% of the staff

CanadaThe food was not great. Some of the restaurants were slightly better but overall needs work. The staff were mostly great in the restaurants and throughout grounds but some bartenders were rude and made you feel unwelcome. Cleaning staff stood outside our room for hours every day and evening chatting and talking on walkie talkies disturbing sleep at times.
The location and beaches were stunning. The rooms were comfortable and spacious. The Platinum facilities were great and restaurants beautiful. The wildlife walking around the grounds were also amazing. Definitely worth the money to upgrade to Platinum as the other beach and facilities always seemed crowded.

BrazilRoom maintenance could have been better as some things werer broken: toilet seat, paper holder, bathroom door lock. There are lots of drinks everywhere and everytime, but it lacks some snacks in between meal times, specially at the pool and beach areas. The food trucks on the beach would not start serving food until 11:30 or so and by the pools you can only get drinks for most of the time.
Room was very nice, very quiet, with a confortable bed and very spacious. The bathroom is also very large with two sinks, bathtub, separate toilet and huge shower area. Food was very good with plenty of restaurants to choose from and we were able to make all the reservations we wanted. Beach was perfect every day during our stay, no seaweed at all, water temperature was excellent.
