Despite the USD exchange rate quoted on booking.com, upon arrival, they request that you either pay in USD or utilize your card with the local currency at a higher rate, resulting in a higher total payment.

The location is excellent, and the building is nice. The room was clean and quiet.

They charged 5% for paying with card, there is the only hotel in Santo Domingo which did it. They said to the consumer that it is for paying with card, it must be part of the cost.

Location is perfect too many places are around to take pictures, eat and grab a coffee.

Rooms next to the elevator can be a little bit uncomfortable when trying to sleep since you can hear people talking when getting in and out of the elevator.

Great hotel located in the very heart of Santo Domingo colonial district. Just few steps away from the city's main plaza and the museums. We loved the fact that although we stayed at weekend and the streets were super loud, the rooms guaranteed perfect silence. We also really enjoyed the breakfast!

On this return trip, we were disappointed with the quality of food at lunch. We opted to have a lunch in the restaurant and ordered sancho, not available, then ordered a burger with blue cheese, not available. Settled for a club sandwich which was chicken salad and much to my disappoint had several tiny bones through it. This could have been a very dangerous situation.

The location is the best for us. The front desk staff were very attentive and courteous as usual. Thanks to Gabrielle and partner. Breakfast buffet had a good variety.

Couldn’t get a wash cloth. Stingy on hand towels, even though we asked for extras. Bathroom was very small but everything worked.

Excellent location as a base for a very quick stay in Santo Domingo. Clean room, good shower and good breakfast.

Our first night, we were in a room in the front along the main street with a balcony. It was way too loud. The good news is that we spoke to the staff in the morning and they moved us to a room in the back and it was perfect!

The staff was so friendly and helpful. The location was great in the Colonial Zone - so easy to walk everywhere! Breakfast was good, if a little crowded. The terrace is lovely!

Parking was a challenge. Make sure to tell the staff if you are leaving for the day or night to make sure your car can be easily accessed. Also, we did eat a few items from the mini bar. The prices were not consistent. Perhaps a price list can be placed next to the items.

The location was nice, you can walk everywhere from there and there are good restaurants around. Breakfast was nice, a lot of stuff to choose and the staff was really kind and welcoming.

The personnel is helpful, but not all speak English. There was a desk, but no chairs at all in our room. The air conditioner was blowing way too strong for a small room, but too hot without it. After a whole night of rain the corridors of the hotel were wet in many places. Our room stayed dry though.

Location in the best region of the old town Zona Colonial. 24h front desk. Private gym. Good tips on where and how to take a bus to Punta Cana. Good shower.
