Check in staff was rude, not addressing the people standing there for over 30 mins in the heat. They show favoritism to anyone that wasn’t Americans, did not like that.

My room was nice, unlimited drinks, servers were so sweet and made my stay so enjoyable. Food was amazing 10/10

I was there last year and loved the staff. This year, not so much. My assigned "butler" was good but restaurant staff was not like last year's. The cleaning staff is lacking. There were 3 plates of food stacked by an elevator ashtray for 2 days without anyone calling or picking it up. There were plenty staff going by it every day but, not one picked it up or called housekeeping (if it wasn't their responsibility to pick it up). My mother's suite had roaches and I can now see why. And, if there's a roach in one or some, there are roaches everywhere...I just can't say I saw it, except in my mother's suite...unacceptable!! The beach had an enormous amount of seaweed. Not a problem if they had, at least a small bulldozer to clear a path for beach goers. They had nothing and did nothing to clear even a small path, in their not so large beach property.

The layout of the resort is excellent. Nothing is too far it can't be reached within a 2-5 min walk. I've been to resorts that have trams to get around. This one has everything accessible within a short distance...beach, restaurants, bars, pools throughout the property. I was there last year Aug 2024 and it was decent.

Rooms need a tad bit of remodeling but still pretty good

Literally almost everything was perfect! I’ll just start with what I think needs to change. We stayed in a garden view room. The room could use some upgrades. Jets in tub were showing major corrosion, shower drains and shower heads need repair. The couch had some wear and tear and the king bed is 2 twin box springs pushed together..ours were uneven. We had 3 rooms here and they all needed the same kind of repair. With that being said we would STILL stay here again. This resort and staff were spectacular. The buffet was a 10/10 every day all day. The restaurants were amazing!! The pool is so huge you feel like you have your own private space. Foam party the best pool party I’ve ever attended. Lots of places to get drinks and the drinks are great. “Kiddie” pool amazing..even the adults enjoyed the water slides!! The shows were so fun and interactive with the crowd. We loved the Michael Jackson show. The staff here is so friendly, from front desk to room attendants, restaurant staff…everyone 10/10! We did 8 days in DR, the first part of our trip was spent at another resort..we did not have a good experience. We were beyond happy we chose to switch hotels to Majestic. We would recommend this resort a million times!!

Rooms are not clean there is a lot mold behind the sinks and bathroom tiles , under the bed are not cleaned they most need to hire either more people or better housekeeping manager

This place is unique!!! His staff members are amazing and friendly they welcome visitors like family, animation crew members are a plus in this place they make vacations unforgettable, will be back next year

Unfortunately we could not enjoy the beach as it was full of gulfweed, in spite of the staff best efforts to clean it up.
