Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

IsraelThe spa, jacuzzi, steam/sauna and Turkish bath are not included, and are only accessible for an hourly rate (that is extremely high). This was not obvious from the website or booking site, and had I known this, I would have gone elsewhere.
The food was excellent. There was fresh produce at every meal, lots of variety, tasty pastries, and the staff was eager to please!

IsraelUnfortunately, in the first night I couldn't sleep cause of a lot of mosquitoes in my room, even though my window was closed they still were there and made sleeping impossible, the hotel staff didn't know how to help.
Quiet, clean and private rooms, the private beach was amazing. The breakfast and the dinner had variety of things to choose from. The hotel's staff was nice and helped whenever needed, overall a good stay.

United States of AmericaWe felt that the room although decently furnished, felt a little old and could use a little update. The hotel itself was not the nicest we've been to, but very big and roomy.
The initial reception was Great! Mr. M. Facidal greeted us at the front entrance, new us by name (I guess it didnt hurt that we were one of only a few guests at the hotel which is normal for this time of year), took us on a ride in a golf cart to the front desk. Sherif at the Front Desk was extremely courteous and a please to deal with. Waheid at the Spa was helpful and we enjoyed talking with him and learning about his culture a little. All in all, the staff was very nice, everyone smiling and we definitely felt that they were there to help. We felt very safe in the resort. The resort itself has a very nice pool area (closes early at sunset, which when we were there in December was at 4:30 pm), with a swim up bar and many palm trees. It is also kept very clean. We definitely had a "Resorty" feel while we were there.

IsraelNo need to pay for the all inclusive in the winter.Complete waste of money- only gives you extra drinks. Half board is more than enough. Maybe it is better value in the summer

SwedenMy speaker was confiscated by the check-in as this "isn't allowed at the resort". Very disappointing. Also, the fitness studio was good in terms of space and machines, but would need a renovation to stay modern
Fantastic resort with all you would wish for supplies. Clean and very safe. Our room was huge with a breathtaking view of the whole resort. Food was amazing and the restaurant very pleasant. The beach walk with connection to other resorts was great, and we could walk along the cost and different hotels without any problem

IsraelThe main dining room serves various flavors of Arab and international cuisine, so that everyone can find what they want, including vegetarians and vegans, but some of the offered dishes should be upgraded to a level of 5 stares resort.
The rooms are large, spacious, clean and pleasant to stay with all the needed amenities. Leaving the rooms to the public area, we discovered a huge resort in all its glory - spacious lawns and beautiful landscaping, a huge swimming pool surrounded by sunbeds. In the center of the pool, there is a bar where soft drinks and alcohol are served. Various Mediterranean and international music is played all around, creating an atmosphere of a nonstop party. For those who prefer a quiet and relaxing area, there is another pool in a more distant area, with sunbeds, and another indoor pool. Besides that, the hotel has a quiet, clean and tidy private beach with sunbeds and sheds. Water sports is available for extra costs (our kids went snorkeling in the open sea and had a great time). We moved by the staff's attitude. In every corner of the hotel, there is always a team at your disposal who go out of their way to help and make your stay pleasant, always with cordiality and human warmth. There are three other themed restaurants scattered throughout the hotel, but the best of them is the Lebanese restaurant that serves dishes at the level of a chef's restaurant, which is highly recommended.

The place is wonderful - very clean, staff are super friendly. 10 minutes walk from the Israeli border so locations is great. We were 3 families and enjoyed our 6 nights very much. The food was very good (although bad recommendation we read before). Recommended to families!

IsraelRelatively expensive lately for what you get, but I guess its a matter of supply and demand.
This was my second time in Movenpick, but this time I stayed one night on the way to Sharm. The place is nice enough, but never quite delivers. The food is mediocre, the facilities a bit run down, and everything is quite basic.

IsraelMassage guys and other staff near the pool sometimes are boring. It is supposed yo have only one beach towel per room despite the number of people living in the room. So always had to ask kindly for additional towels, they gave us them but looked very unhappy with that. Very long waiting for check-in, about 2 hours. In the room some tumbler switches not worked, furniture looks very old (not sure, maybe it's such style).
Great hotel with a great pool and own beach, with pleasant staff and very beautiful territory.

IsraelFood is OK but not great. For big hotel standards I really don't expect it to be great so that's OK. Lines for check-out were slow. It was on a very busy day but may be they could have added a couple of employees.

United States of AmericaMy biggest main issue was the difficult in communication. Only a few staff members can communicate in English and/ or Hebrew. All the staff are very kind and want to help but the language barrier is an issue for me. A maintenance issue in my room that needed extra attention (which can happen anywhere) just made my evening terrible because I couldn't communication well with the front desk and crew that came to help. Second issue was check in and check out time... high season or not it was terrible long wait.
Excellent location near the Israeli border. Large beautiful and well maintained grounds that offer you everything you need for a relaxing time. The food options in the resort are good, wiith an option to add food plans for a every visitor's needs as a package ahead of time. Rooms options are as described with more quiet locations and near the activities/main pool area. I'm sure you just need to mention it in you check in. The resort offers additional services such as beach activities and spa that meets the standards of every resort I been too so far.

IsraelThere is very loud music from the pool from opening to closing. There is a bar inside the pool with lots of drunk people. The access to the sea is not convenient and with a lot of people, not a friendly entrance to the sea with children.
The staff was very nice and always fulfilled our requests quickly and with a smile. The hotel area is very large, you can always find a place to sit. The food was really nice, there was a lot of variety. There are 2 restaurants in the hotel, the Lebanese restaurant is excellent.
