Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Czech RepublicIf you’re planning to cook while your visit, the kitchen has really just the main kitchen facilities. Also the stairs above the kitchen, oh my… I’ve bumped my head there so mamy times during our 5 day stay, so be carefull there as well. 😅
The location with the most beautiful view. The host was helpfull and answered all our questions. The accommodation has everything a person need for short term stay.

South AfricaUnit is on the small street, so one must expect the sound of vehicles and people passing. Not serious as there is double glass and an air conditioner.
Older, but well maintained and clean unit with good beds and bedding. Seamless booking in and we were accommodated with an earlier check in. Beautiful view over the sea. Small but adequate kitchen area and enough utensils

United KingdomOur room was on a raised ground floor, and our room was not very private, with the balcony on the road side, at head height. (pros and cons with the view)
The apartment was fully fitted out with everything needed for a short stay - including a short kitchenette. Located in a quite village but had views over the hills and sea. The apartments are very close to the main parking, and a 10 min drive from Nerja, where we went for a quick dinner. The apartments were very close to the Nerja caves, which I would highly recommend!

United KingdomStudio apartment and I didn’t realise that the bed was on a mezzanine floor. The stairs up to the bed were steep and difficult to climb. Light not working on the floor. Very difficult to use the microwave and fridge as under the stairs.
Location. Beautiful view from the balcony. Car park and good bar/restaurant close by

United KingdomThis place is a lovely little gem. Not overly lavish, just basic and has what you need, which is what we like. Nice view from Maro out over the coast down to the sea, great for coffee on the little balcony. Host left keys in a lock box as we arrived late, saw her over next few days and was lovely. Maro is a very small little place, very pretty and has a great little tapas bar round the corner. Options for eating out are limited and Nerja is a good option 5mins down the road. Loved this place though, and was great for exploring the coastline.

United KingdomThe apartment is equipped for tourists and as such is a little basic , hob and microwave provided , no cooker or kettle so limited facilities, apartment is above popular cafe ,on ,many occasions it was noisy quite late , the locals can be a tad loud
The apartment was spacious 2 balconies both with amazing view of the sea and the mountains to the east , the cleaning staff were there almost every day , quite amazed for an apartment , more like a hotel , the 2 beaches of maro can be walked in 10/20 minutes from apartment mountain walks from maro caves are minutes away

MexicoI expected a self catered apartment and it was just a room with an en suite bathroom, but other than that it was very good. Beds were ok, not the most comfortable but did the job!
The staff from the restaurant were lovely and very accommodating. Great views, location and free parking nearby.

Lithuania- Only one trash bin for the bathroom and kitchen. For the whole apartment. - Lack of utensils for the kitchen. Like no cutting board. No proper knife for cutting bread. No spatchula. No kettle to boil water for tea. If you are planing to make your own breakfast every morning, look at another location, as this one is really not equiped enough. - The beach is a 15-20min hike away. Although you can definitely check that before booking, so that one is on us.
- The beds were comfortable. - The nearby square is nice. - The french door balcony and the view is nice. - They changed our sheets and took the trash out without us asking.

CanadaThe room has a tiny kitchen with Sink, fridge, stove, and microwave. Also, there were dishes, pots, pan, and cookware. Also, dish soap and sponge. To be honest, dishes and cookwares were not clean ... and i dont know if the sponge is new or used .. If you need to cook, then i recommend you to buy a new sponge from the market and wash the dishes and cookware before you use!
The view is fantastic! It's close to the beach (15mins walk, cant not drive to near the beach, no parking space). It is very stiff uphill on the way back to the apartment from the beach. . There is a bus stop near the apartment. The bus only takes cash(we didnt have cash, so couldnt take a bus.. dont know how much the bus fare is.) parking is free, right in the front! The room, washroom, and bedsheets were clean. It has a little balcony, so you can enjoy the ocean view with moonlight (or sunlight, but gonna be way too hot haha)
