Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThe only negative was the lift was out of action a couple of times which meant climbing 5 flights of stairs to our room . Not really suitable for people with walking difficulties .
Good size appartment and good value . Ideal for families and couples

SpainThe WiFi was very poor. The kitchen was a little tired. The laundry room didn't have sufficient machines for the number of users. We really didn't enjoy the 'entertainment' but maybe other people do. Not happy paying for the room safe at 1.50 euros per day. This is normally free.
All of the staff were great and loved the pool. Good location and public facilities.

We had a good stay. Comfy beds and enough hot water in the shower. Short walk to centrum of Puerto de la Cruz. Good value for the price.

IrelandThe hotel lived up to our standards, bar the missing AC that was definetly needed as it got very stuffy and hot at night.
This was our second time staying in this hotel and we are very pleased to say the least. The location is very good. There´s underground parking available at the hotel at a charge.(I´d definetly reccomend) as it´s impossible to find a aprking spot on the street. Rooms: separate bed room, livingroom, kichen and bathroom. The workers work outstandingly hard and are very polite and helpful with any queries you might have. We appreciated the Happy hours in the bar. Thank you. We will definetly return again for our third time.

PortugalLocation wise is a bit far from the beach and the centre of Puerto de la Cruz (but we already knew that). The balcony was a bit small since we were with a group of 5. In order to use the gym, you have to pay extra as they don't belong to the Apartamentos Casablanca organisation.
Quite place, with a nice swimming pool, restaurant and cafe. The apartment had a good amount of space for 5 people.

United KingdomThe only thing that was lacking was air conditioning (only a ceiling fan in the bedroom, nothing in the living-room). We weren't there in high summer so the ceiling fan in the bedroom was fine, but it would have been better if there also had been one in the lounge of the apartment.
Club Casablanca is very well maintained. We liked our room which was just as we asked for on the "special requests" section of the booking form - we were given a room on a high floor which faced on to the street (Calzada Martianez). It had a lovely big balcony and the room was well-furnished. A bottle of water was provided on arrival and kitchen was stocked with all essentials.

EstoniaCold pool which is closed too soon. Cleaner didn't sweep the floors. Smell in the wardrobes. Parking spaces - if you are not a good maneuverer, you may be in trouble :) Hotel is situated on hill - so be prepared to walk stairs.
Silent, there was not many visitors :). Good view from the balcony of the apartment (El Teide). Well equipped kitchen. Friendly recepcionist. Place to park your car (5 eur for night). Free wifi which worked well. Close to shopping center.

SpainFrom the pictures, we imagine that we could use the gym, but no. It is payed apart from the hotel. And it is not inside the hotel. It is located beside it. So we got a little bit disappointed about that. Pool is closed at 8pm.
The room was huge! Big bed and great bathroom. Everything was super clean! Big balcony! The hotel has parking, where you have to pay 5 euros per day. We didn't have breakfast there. we recommend to go to Lago Martianez, which is 10 min walking. Be careful because the hotel is in the top of a mountain, and is difficult to go walking to the closest beach if you a with older people.
