Rooms are not soundproof at all, all sorts of knocking and other noises could be heard all the time from other rooms and the corridor.

I was very disappointed by the breakfast. It was the main reason I booked this hotel (the reviews were good). I understand that buffets are not possible but the offered breakfast portions are not satisfying. I took every option once to try and the meat and cheese had no taste. The fruits were not ripe. That is really something they can improve.

The studio we had was amazing! The beds are super comfortable and it was never too noisy, even if we had our room next to the street. The location is nice and the beach, restaurants, etc. are within a walk by foot.

You can borrow a hairdryer at the reception, but I would expect it to be part of the room. We also missed an electric kettle.

The wifi is terrible, its basically non existing. The rooms feel a bit outdated, but for the price are ok. There is no hairdryer in the bathroom.

The price/performance is exceptional. The staff is really nice, the rooms are kept clean and spacious. There is a small hob, microway and fridge in the room, together with cutlery and plates. There is a supermarket located just next to a building and shopping mall about 3min walk. There is a good restaurant just at the entrance. The property is located about 5min walk from the beach. There is large free parking available in the port (nearlighthouse) which is about 15min walk. We brought our bikes inside our room and there were no problems with that.

Some details of the rooms show that the hotel is quite old but still a nice hotel.

Perfect location close to the town center, beaches, shops, and restaurants. Very friendly staff, always ready to help. The breakfast was great, everything fresh and tasty. Loved that the room was spacious and very clean - the cleaning ladies came every day to tidy up and change the towels. Brilliant!

Even though there are no children, the hotel is not as quiet as you might expect / hope. This is because it's in a busy part of town, and you will often hear stuff from the outside. As I stayed in winter, it was possible to cut some of that out by shutting the window, but in summer, without air conditioning, that might not be so comfortable. You can also hear sounds from inside the hotel, as the door to the room isn't soundproofed. Personally, I booked the hotel mostly because I didn't want to deal with children at breakfast / around the pool, so a bit of noise didn't bother me, but if you're expecting 100% peace and quiet, then you won't get it. There are some quirky things in the kitchen. For example, while a kettle, a toaster, and a coffee machine are provided, you can't actually plug any of them in so that you can use them on the kitchen worktop as the cables won't reach from the nearest socket. I had to place the kettle on the floor. The alternative would have been to run it across the room next to the TV, which I didn't want to do. No instructions were provided as to how to access the parking I'd paid for. There is nowhere to stop on the street the hotel is on unless you want to block traffic. As I was on my own, I couldn't send anyone else to reception. Thankfully I have roaming so could call, but the receptionist wasn't particularly helpful and kept trying to get me to just leave my car in the middle of the street in front of reception. It turned out that the place I eventually did leave my car in was exactly where I needed to be to access the parking, but I still had to leave it there, drive to the front of reception so the lady could see me, then drive back to exactly where I'd just come from. I think this could have been handled a lot better, as it added a lot of pointless stress to my check in process.

Great location, in what appears to be the up and coming cool part of the city. Nearby streets have cool bars, both traditional and trendy restaurants, and even an amazing 100% vegan restaurant only 4 minutes' walk away. There's a great supermarket practically at the end of the street, and the ocean is two minutes away in the other direction. The hotel and the rooms are spotlessly clean. The building is definitely old, but not without charm. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need for self catering. The TV works, with a mix of channels in different languages, though more choice for German speakers than English speakers. The hotel offers underground parking for an additional fee, which I definitely recommend to anyone coming with a car. At 8 euros a day it's very reasonable, and parking in the area is practically impossible. You can easily leave and return to the car park as often as possible. I loved the adults only aspect of the stay here, which is why I booked this hotel. At the time of booking, it was the cheapest adults only hotel I could find that still had space. Breakfast is nice enough. Coffee and juice / smoothies come out of a machine and are OK, if not amazing. The breakfast is half buffet, half pre-order. You can order a different one every day, and even though all pre-order options include meat, you can ask for that to be removed if you're a vegetarian and they are very accommodating. If you're vegan, I think you'll struggle, so you may want to skip this option. Between the nearby supermarket and the vegan-friendly places in the area, you'll be OK. The pool is a good size and the pool area is very nice and relaxed. Most of the staff were absolutely lovely and helpful.

Parking - was too small for my medium size hire car so I had to pay overnight parking in an underground carpark every night. I guess only a very small car eg Fiat 500 would fit......

There is nothing to be complained about. It is wery hard to park the car anywhere in the city centre but it is not the issue of the hotel. If you want to park nearby you need to book the parking.

The staff was wery nice and helpful, rooms were big, clean and tidy. Hotel is located in the city centre, few minutes from the beach and supermarket. The restaurants are everywhere around the hotel. The breakfast was really tasty.

The noise is very loud and it’s hard to fall asleep. We needed to ask for help because we lost a wallet and when we asked for the night receptionist, he was very rude to us and even treated to punch us after accusing us of making noise. We were not the ones making noise but another bedroom. Worse experience ever, I have never gone through something like this in years traveling and several countries. I would tell everyone to go on a different hotel, anything can be better than this one.

No cross ventilation in room. Even with window and ceiling fan room 211 stayed quite warm September 27th.
