Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

IrelandCons: - literally nothing around the hotel. Nothing to do. No restaurants. Nada. (This is ok if you're like us and just wanted to chill out) - Terrible wifi all over the hotel. Had to use mobile data the whole time even though there was a router in the room. - The romantic side is a full separate building so to get to the gym, dinner, lunch etc, you had to walk across a sandy parking lot (for about 6-7 min) to get to the main building. Felt very very separate. - Breakfast had lots of options, lunch wasn't too bad, but I feel like dinner was a bit lost. One night, it was 80% fish dishes and for someone that doesn't eat/ is allergic to fish, naturally this was not ideal. I feel like breakfast was the best and dinner was definitely the worst. There were 2 specific days i wished I ate more at lunch so I didn't have to have the dinner.... - Spa was very expensive ( same price as Dublin) - They have a shop to buy sun cream and snacks etc but it is extremely expensive. It was €22 for a bottle of sun cream that I paid €11 for in boots.... - A/C not great. Sometimes, when we had the doors and curtains closed in the room with the AC running, it was still cooler outside? Found this in the gym and the main building too.
Pros: - Lovely Staff - Clean rooms that are big - Pools and sun loungers are well maintained - Plenty of loungers - Peaceful and relaxing (not super super loud) - Decent choice of all inclusive drinks, cocktails and food at the bars - Lovely gym with brand new equipment

United KingdomBeach is not really used - some chairs & loungers might encourage guests to use it. It’s an isolated resort so a car is helpful. Food is simple - it’s good, but not fine dining.
Got what is says on the tin! We loved our seafront room. The hotel & grounds are well kept. Food & drink is plentiful and fresh. Loved the heated swimming pool. Staff are very friendly and helpful. We’ll be back!

PortugalThe room needs a little work. It had some of the features broken or not in the best condition
The staff and the food made our stay. The staff is the loveliest, always happy to help and asking if we needed anything else. The food was good and it had a lot of variety to choose from. The pool was pleasant and the drinks at the bar were good

United KingdomBeds were horrendously hard. All inclusive wine awful (on tap). Rooms seem to be set up for couples, eg glass wall separating room from bathroom. Not great if you’re friends sharing. Had to turn down an upgrade to the romantic suites. That area was a weird set up. Not sure why it is called a design hotel.
Great gym. Good sized room. Some ok fare in the restaurant. Good basement bar for evening dancing.

SpainFood choices in the Evening and only 1 choice of local spirits, which were bad and only pepsi no coke all other soft drinks had too much soda!!! And I had to pay 6.50 for a decent whiskey... You can buy local whiskey, cheap price that tastes good
The room, but not like the picture we viewed, thought it had a walk in shower, area, pool and staff

United KingdomThe food lacked variety for lunch/dinner. We preferred breakfast; my partner and I felt that it provided more options. The resort indicated that it had entertainment options, but I felt that it was pretty quiet and it tended to be livelier during the nighttime DJ.
In regards to location, we were looking for a more secluded area, which this resort is perfect for. We booked a balcony with a view room and it was worth it. The beach was just a few feet away, which also added to the overall experience. There was 1 heated pool and 1 cold pool that we enjoyed and there was a lot of options for services and day at the Spa.

CroatiaEverything is designed so that you cannot use all-inclusive properly. All-inclusive hotel but the entire hotel serves drinks in one place, at one small pool bar. When that closes, they open another bar. In All Inclusive is for only domestic cheap drinks. They charge for everything else, at least a little higher quality, like Espresso coffee. Bacardi, Jameson, and such drinks are paid separately. If you need to change the beach or pool towel you need to extra pay. City or village has nothing in it but the location is ok for driving around the island. The beach is not good but if you have a car you can drive to wonderful beaches around 10-20km from Hotel. One pool is heated and another is not. Before breakfast people put their towels on pool chairs. If you come to the pool after breakfast you will not find the place. On all days half pool chairs are empty with towels on them.
Big and clean rooms, The food is good, but without Spanish products such as prosciutto, real paella, etc

Switzerland- not a big varity of food (always bit the same) - pools weren‘t really heated, so it was too cold in december for swimming - besides the hotel there isn‘t much to see or to do, unless you rent a car - drinks like mojito or aperol spritz weren‘t included in the all inclusive
- hotel was very clean, always fresh towels - staff was very friendly - always good entertainment like aquafit or evening shows with dj and dancers - food was good - place was very quite - snacks in between lunch and dinner

United KingdomSmall nitpick: one 1.5L bottle of water was provided in the mini bar in the guest room, which obviously didn’t last long. I guess it would be nice if a bottle was provided every other day for the stay. Also I wasn’t able to use the safe in my room - based on another review that I saw on here, I have to assume that you have to pay separately to use this, which is somewhat strange to me.
EVERY member of staff that I spoke with was wonderful, friendly, accommodating and helpful; the spa experience in particular is amazing - I urge everyone to take advantage of the services they have to offer, the ladies that were there on the day I went there were magnificent and serene. The property itself and the location is beautiful. The room that I stayed in was great. When I return in the future, I will make sure to have practised my Spanish more so that I am able to speak it in confidence with everyone there!!

SpainWe had the only one issue with supplies in the room as we asked for refill and there was a slight miscommunication between reception and the maids which caused us waiting a bit too long for the solution but it didn't ruin anything at all.
It was a really good get away in this complex. We were upgraded to Romantic suites. In the whole hotel there's AMAZING staff, nice animators, good food, clean environment - there was nothing to complain about. We stayed for 4 nights and felt like this is just perfect length of stay as the hotel is not too big. Although we came with low expectations after reading a lot of reviews, we instead were very surprised. Yes the beach isn't perfect (which is absolutely not an issue of the hotel), yes the food range isn't the highest in the world and something might use a bit of restorations but to all those who cry on reviews - remember how much you paid before complaining! For this amount of money it's more than the best you can get. Thank you for all of the team hotel team.

United KingdomHardly anything here. Beds were huge but quite hard. In the main hotel the usual problem of people reserving sunbeds, but we didn't have that at Romantic as there was lots of space
First impressions were that the hotel looked clean and modern. The reception Evalina was very helpful and we got upgraded to stay in the R2 Romantic hotel. We could not have been happier. The room was big, clean, quiet and the gardens kept beautifully. So we're very pleased as this is the adjacent hotel but is much quieter and relaxed with free use of hot tubs, swimming pool and beautiful gardens to sit in. A pool drinks and snacks bar. We walked across to the other hotel for meals which was a 5 min pleasant walk. We could also use all facilities at Bahia Player so we didn't miss anything but could also get away from the music at night etc. We also had 30 mins free in the spa. The food was absolutely brilliant and all alcohol was to our taste. The staff are very friendly and helpful and in particular Marta at the pool bar had a lovely welcoming smile always and Marco in entertainment is exceptional. Room swept and beds made every day. Bottle of Cava in room and fresh water each day. Tea and coffee facilities also in room Would definitely recommend and return as it's a great base if you hire a car, so near to beautiful beaches.

United KingdomOnly thing we didn't like was the noise sometimes at night. Our room was directly above an outside seating area ( hotel grounds) and also the promenade ( public) and groups of younger people were sometimes noisy until 2am. I couldn't get asleep as I am a light sleeper.
The heated pool was great - and really necessary in February. We went in the pool every day. The staff were so helpful. My husband asked upon arrival if we had a sea view. And we got upgraded to a suite with a sea view. Also at check-in the man helping us was great. He realised we hadn't eaten and he knew they were about to stop serving dinner so he stopped the check-in and told us to go quickly to get food first. When we asked about an early check out (5.45) I assumed we had no chance of breakfast but the lady told us to go to dining area at 5.30am for coffee, cereal and bread etc. The property was really clean and all staff we met were very friendly and helpful.
