Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

BrazilThe only thing is that there is never anyone at reception, I needed towels and there was no one to help me.
The location is excellent, overlooking Seville Cathedral. For me, as I was there because of Maria Padilha's story, it was fantastic. The room is very comfortable, with a complimentary coffee machine, and the bathroom is excellent, very modern, and has a great shower.

AustraliaWe were there on a Saturday night, so the town is very noisy and you can hear the Cathedral bells when they chime. It was nice they provide free ear plugs next to your bed for those who need it.
Location was certainly central, Cathedral just outside the door. Room was clean and the shower was amazing. Bed was also very comfortable. Room was large.

United KingdomThe staff constantly asking if we were going to rooftop bar when we were going to our room in the lift. We stayed 3 nights and told them each time we were hotel guests but still asked over and over.

United KingdomIt is noisy because of the bar above - this didn’t worry me at all but I expect some others may complain! They give you earplugs so they’re trying their best to help.
Really great location right by the cathedral. Spotlessly clean, comfortable room with everything you need. Lovely big bathroom with a great shower. Staff were friendly and helpful. An ideal place to stay to explore the city as it’s so close to the historic sites. The view from my room was gorgeous as so close to la giralda tower and cathedral! The bar is also great for a night cap with a fab view.

United KingdomI ate in the restaurant (dinner) the staff were properly stretched between the restaurant downstairs & the roof top bar they were struggling. Empanadas were lovely, chicken strips too sweet. Slow service but couldn’t blame them don’t think there were enough staff.
The room itself was absolutely lovely and check in was smooth, staff friendly and location was great. Roof top bar amazing view if the cathedral

United KingdomIt didn’t bother us but it was very noisy of a night. The roof top bar closed about 2ish and then the staff were quite noisy with glass and bottles. Patrons either didn’t realise that it was a hotel and were noisy leaving, some singing on the way down. There were also of course the cathedral bells. Ear plugs were provided. This was more a tapas bar than a hotel. The reception wasn’t manned and little English was spoken but the staff were very helpful if asked for anything.
Location was excellent., right by the cathedral and perfect for sight seeing. Rooms were very cool, a relief to return to after the hot city. They had character and great views . Bed was comfortable and there was a small fridge with water provided daily. Roof top bar was excellent.

PhilippinesNo dedicated staff beyond office hours of the restaurant but I did not mind it at all. The checkout was a little bit difficult because I did not know if I can just leave the hotel.
The location was perfect, just right next to the cathedral of Seville and you can walk to any other location within the old town.

United KingdomWe really enjoyed our stay here. It was on the noisy side, when people were leaving the roof top bar and early in the morning with deliveries but we were expecting this with the hotel being so central. Earplugs are supplied in the rooms so the noise was not an issue for us, but maybe for others.
The location was amazing, really central with easy accessibility to the palace, Jewish quarter, cathedral etc. Really friendly, welcoming and helpful staff. Room was large with a very comfy bed.

AustraliaA little noisy at night as people pass you room coming down from the rooftop bar
The location of Casa Art is wonderful. We had the Flamenco room which faced the cathedral so the view was fantastic. It is surrounded by restaurants and bars and apart from having the Cathedral across the square, is only a 5 minute walk to the Alcazar.

United KingdomWhen we booked, the description said there was a terrace/balcony, we took that to be a terrace/balcony with the room, but it wasn't! The terrace is a roof top tapas bar open to the public, the room had windows that could be opened but no balcony that you could step onto, this maybe should have been advertised on booking.com differently? A little more detail to the rooms would pay dividends, the shower only worked in a certain fashion which wasn't easy and needed fixing, but no sign of that during our stay.
The hotel is very lovely and unusual, All the staff were extremely helpful, with a special mention to Olga and to Geordie for helping us so much during our stay, they were great and we managed between us all with the help of Google Translate. The location is very central, directly opposite the cathedral and close to all the attractions. We took 2 horse and carriage rides, one of which was around Triana, this was a beautiful district and would certainly be worth another visit with more time available.
