On the downside, the sound insulation could be improved. I could hear noise from neighboring rooms as well as guests arriving late at night. Rooms located further from the reception area might be quieter, but those don’t offer the same Arc view, so it’s a bit of a trade-off.

Overall, I had a pleasant stay. The room is quite small, but it’s perfectly suited for a solo traveller and has everything needed for a comfortable short stay. The highlight was definitely the view over the Arc de Triomf — it really made the experience feel special and added a unique touch to the stay.

It’s difficult to find the first time as there is only a small sign on the inside of the door. It doesn’t look like a hotel. There was also a bit of a damp smell coming from the bathroom. My room had a window so the fresh air helped.

The location is excellent and the staff are very friendly. There is also coffee, fruits and snacks for the guests, which was a nice touch

I was staying in Barcelona for the half marathon and the location of the hotel was excellent. The room had everything I needed and the free snacks / complimentary drinks were such a lovely touch. All the staff working there were really nice too.

The check in process was not clear. There is an outside door to a building that is locked and I could not reach anyone to get inside. I had to wait 10 min for someone leaving the building so I could get inside. The hotel gave no contact information so I couldn’t call them. Also there was no hot water and I was staying there for 4 nights, so it meant 4 ice cold showers in the middle of winter. It would be hot for half a minute and immediately turn ice cold.

A metro was under the hotel so that was disturbing at night, the room was so small.

The room was clean and comfortable, there were free coffee, water, fruit and chocolates. The staff were very friendly and polite. Location is the best, we were walking everywhere, everything was close , barely using public transports.

The location was spot on, I could see the arc de triomf from my room. The staff were so kind and helpful and it was so nice and modern and clean.

- the place is referred to by many reviewers (and also on goole search) as a hotel, while it is more like a Hostal/Guesthouse. - the room and bathroom (although nice and modern) were really tiny that you could hardly move. There is not much place to open a suitcase. Due to the small dimensions there wasn't even a chair in the room, but the manager was kind and added one at my request.

Overall a good place in a relatively good location. It is not in the very center of Barcelona, but it is very conveniently located near a metro station that is 2 stops from the Ramblas and not too far to walk too. The room is nice, well maintained, clean and looks almost new. There is a frindge in the room, which is very convenient and also complimentary snacks. The water flow in the shower was terrific.

Cozy and spotlessly clean hotel. Location is 10/10 steps away to restaurants, transportation and landmarks. Furniture is modern and new.. the room was very clean and offered all I needed. There is a coffee/ snacks “bar” available 24/7. I will stay again when returning to Barcelona. Small but Lovely facilities!! Staff was accommodating and friendly…10/10

Only that I couldn't book a room as I passed back through Barcelona as they were fully booked.

On finding this property it seemed to be too good to be true, at this price point in Barcelona most ratings are closer to 7 than they are to 10. It deserves the rating that it has, I found the rooms, although small, clean and well appointed. My room faced the street and the double glazing was effective in keeping out the noise although you can feel the metro trains as they pass beneath the building. There is a fridge in the room with complimentary drinks on arrival, an espesso machine in the common area. I was travelling alone and it suited my needs perfectly. On arrival, after a very long flight I was able to drop my bags, until my room was available, Jordie was very accommodating. The location was excellent with plenty of restaurants in the immediate area, it is a short walk to the old city, busses to the beach and the metro are just out the door.
