Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. United KingdomThe property was great but we have been trying to get an invoice from the blue line office but we are being ignored even though we went into the office in person and spoke to a man who said that it would be no problem. They don’t answer emails. We need an invoice to claim back the difference in price from our previous booking that was cancelled at short notice. Neither booking.com or blue line are interested in assisting us.

United KingdomD16 tower 2 was exceptionally poor. We were met with a filthy mop and a mop bucket of filthy water on arrival. Not very clean. The walls were filthy in all rooms. 3 forks and 1 knife for 4 people. No cooking utensils. No blind in ensuite- couldn't use this facility! Broken coffee table. No wine glasses. No proper dinner plates. No wine cork or can opener. Only 1 broken sunbed on the huge balcony. Again for 4 people! No cloths for cleaning. Nothing at all provided except toilet rolls and 3 sachets of shampoo. One key provided for each apartment. This was difficult with there being 11 of us. No sunbeds or chairs at the tiny pool. All of this relates to D16 tower 2. Apartment D2 tower 1 had no hot water from Friday evening until Monday evening. The toilet seat was broken and the bathroom door lock was also broken. The maintenance came but didn't fix the water only the toilet seat etc. Eventually my son fixed the water! Apartment D5 tower 1 had a completly broken drawer and other issues but I am sure that you get the idea. I contacted Blueline,who manage these properties, on at least a dozen occasions but they didn't get back to me at all. Neither Nicole or Carlos made any effort to resolve the issues. I will be perusing a claim against this company and Booking.com
We had apts D2, D5 tower 1 and D16 tower 2. D2 and D5 were okay.
