Our room was a tad smaller than we anticipated, but it was still enough for our needs. Our air conditioning system was not very strong, so we usually needed to keep the fan on. We also had an issue with our door one day where it did not close all of the way when we left.

The location was excellent and very convenient. We loved the roof - both the pool, the bar service, and the incredible view. And the staff were extremely kind and accommodating. Plus, the breakfast was great.

The pool was small, and hot, it would have been nice if it was cooler in temperature to be more refreshing, but nice to have!

We loved the location, the rooms, the view from the rooftop pool, the staff. It’s an oasis in a busy city. They greet you with cava and drinks when you arrive. The staff is helpful and delightful. The rooms are comfortable.

The lack of gym

There were two many children in the pool, which is ok, but there probably should be time for the adults, given the price. Also there were not enough sun-beds and when people keep them for a whole day, there is no chance to swim and the lie down.

The location was perfect, very central but still on the side street, so it was quiet. I loved that room was very spacious. And the terrace is a huge bonus!

There was a small issue with the water one day but it resolved in a matter of 30 minutes.

Excellent location in the Gothic Quarter. We walked everywhere. Nice and clean room. We had a beautiful view of the Catedral de Barcelona. Although I didnʻt realize there was carpet when I booked. I donʻt like carpeted rooms. Otherwise comfortable beds and big bathroom. We never ate at the restaurant but the views from the rooftop were amazing. I would stay again in a non carpeted room.

Pool was a bit crowded with families on occasion and not a very big area when very hot as chairs a bit limited as Area not that big. But a minor quibble … loved staying in the hotel.

Loved it. Such a good location. Pool was lovely as was rooftop bar, views and staff. Thought the amenities were fantastic including breakfast dining room and breakfast.

I would have to say, I’m very surprised to read such good reviews about the staff. We found the staff miserable and very cold. The gentleman on reception was almost on autopilot, seemed as though he was repeating the same set of questions he asks day in day out, didn’t feel very personal. The pictures of the pool are very deception, the pool is very very small and unless you get there early, you’re unlikely to have a sunbed. Also didn’t enjoy being accosted to pay the bill constantly when you ordered a drink, found the waiter around the pool to be equally miserable/machine like. We had gone to celebrate my birthday and had informed the hotel of this and there was no effort made to recognise this (fairly minor, but again lacking the personal touch) It’s a shame as everything else was great about the hotel.

The location was excellent - central in the gothic quarter, easy to access most areas and also the metro The rooms were comfortable - big bed and good shower, minimal noise disturbances. Good views from the terrace.

The pool was supposed to be open until 10 but they put chlorine in it at 9:30. People pay to swim. Do Chlorine at 10 !
